Got this guy last night. All I can say is this is the first time I wish I would have left a transformer on the shelf. I dont hate Hotshot, but I for sure dont like him either. Too bad I didnt read this review first or this thread.

I havent been shopping for a Transformer since December 16th and i bought Swindle. In the midst of being in jail my bots were knocked off the shlef and (thank god only him) one of Swindle's pegs to his arm/hood fender part is broke. Not a big deal as he still clips together now but not as good.

My point is my birthday is coming up and i will only be getting Animated and the free TCC figure (with my subsription). Probabably something like Arcee, Blurr, Wreck Gar, & Shockwave since those are the ones im missing.

It sucks to be out of the game a bit. But i'll snap back in for season 3 & ROTF. ;)

Has anyone noticed his license plate? JAAM!!

Also, I figured out another thing to do with his rear wheel/fender assemblies: BOXING GLOVES! Just fit the pegs from the kibble into the sockets on the sides of his forearms, and you've got the biggest freaking knuckle dusters ever.

The rear winds-screen and spoiler are a little difficult to remove from the shoulder piece (3 screws, one super-tiny, and a very awkwardly positioned pin) but once that's done it's dead easy to shave off the conflicting internal connectors and attach what you removed to the quarterpanels. (Sorry for the cruddy pic, but gets the point across.)

I have two modified this way which I plan to put up on eBay, probably next week-end, after I've had a chance to do detail painting and fill in the shoulder gaps the mod left. I'm happy to do a how-to at some point, but (a) busy lately, and (b) cruddy camera, so there'd be a bit of a delay on that if there's interest to begin with.

I finally found a use for the back kibble ever since i found out it's removable.

The pegs on each piece can fit in hot shot's hands. So I have him hold them like boxing gloves. Think gundam Maxter
