Eh he looks ok, but that mold just so nails Cyclonus, it just yells it at you no matter what color is he and I can't buy him as an Autobot. Unless it WERE Shattered Glass Cyclonus. Which would be interesting.

Well shoot they were serious about really making this thing Strafe. Though as much as I like the mold, that just looks terrible in Strafe's colors. Maybe I wouldn't be so adversed to it if they had given the fig a new head. But since it's a repaint not much you can do can you.

If they made one of the red details on the front of the wings blue, that could be a Police SWAT jet.

Another great Japanese exclusive. I love that mold and those colors, but not for the around $100.00 pre-orders are listing him for.

 

I wish Hasbro would follow Mattel's example and have a club store with exclusives and do figures like this for the US. Mattel's exclusive He Man and other figures are great additions to their respective lines, but Hasbro DOESN'T need to follow Mat's example of having their DCU waves so freaking hard to find!! (well, that and the haphazard quality control in the DC line that gives some figures to left legs, two right fists, etc...not to mention really bad paint apps on some figures.

 

Of course, it could be said that Botcon and the occasional HTS exclusive are out version of what Takara does in Japan, but with as many molds as Hasbro has available they could do one or two a year at least...

Yea right, its hard enough to get figures in other countries let alone US exclusive.. I WANT MY MR GRUMPY PANTS!

 

Wish they would do StarTrek and DC Crossovers. Imagine the Enterprise-Kirk and Enterprise-Picard V Luke-Snowspeeder and Luke-Xwing alongside Wolverine V Batman and Hulk V WonderWoman...

Unfortunately, the Cyclonus mold hit Cyclonus' appearance so well the mold FAILS at being anyone else without being utter Fail Cakes. This means we'll only have a worthwhile opportunity to replace our (eventually) broken Cyclonus molds when the mold gets its encore.

I have no idea who Strafe is, but I think he looks awesome. Shame he's such a hassle to aquire, I'd totally get him at a "regular" price.

The Mattel figures are same as their SDCC exclusives. Hasbro does the same thing. Then theres the SE Classics.

 

Then again, I have to agree though, some cooler stuff that doesn't make this look like a give away would be awesome.

No, No Dear GOD NO!!!!!!! this is more of a collector thing. I amsorry but I dont need a figure that I have to use a cradit card for AND put myself in debt.
