The only way I'd like these were if they were die-cast 1,000 piece robots that were absolutely perfect (and apparently couldn't transform because they were perfect- btw 1,000 pieces is a meaningless number).

These are a little nicer than last time, but still worse than the real thing. Why on earth would I want a crappy looking transformer that doesn't transform when I could get a nicer looking one that does?

their small and ugly, i really don't now why they are called robot replicas when their not exact to the movie

Sorry but, no. The only reason the actual transforming movie toys look good is because they have actual car and jet parts on them as opposed to looking like crumpled up aluminum foil with strips of aluminum foil glued on randomly. These, have some obnoxious angles and crumpled up spots with a few barely recognizable car parts here and there on them which is what they looked like in the movie, but but the toy aesthetic for the transforming movie toys looks better then the movie counterparts and MUCH better then these things. no thanks Hasbro. Next time, save some shelf space in the toy isle and try listening to the fans more often on the movie line.

Wow, no RR love. Except for me, I think they're great. I have all the initial releases exc. for Frenzy, which I should have gotten instead of FAB Frenzy (*shudder*).

Most of my RRs have been modded to improve their articulation, they can hold some pretty cool poses. Can't wait for these new ones.

:tflaugh You do know that when Bay and the designers made these, they actually uploaded cg versions of almost all of the cars parts and then worked out actual transformations for them that were plausible? And the reason that some of them have crumpled/bent bits of the car are because of the fact that the TFs in the movie-verse (and everything else) are living machines and can more than likely manipulate metal because of this. Ex: Optimus Prime's cab doors when transformed to form his chest plate, are bent outward and downward so there's a bump on the door. :tfpwn

OT: I'm with Hip-Hopptimus Rime, I really like these guys, especially Ironhide, who for once has to-scale accurate cannons. My only gripe with him though are his elbow joints, it looks like he's built to do the chicken dance or something :lol

I really like them as toys, but I dont collect them because I restrict my self to transforming toys. (I dont get revoltech or the pvc figs either)
