I as MUCH as I HATE the $100+ Devastator, Im 99.8% confident that the moment the Transforming bots come out one of us will find a way to have them combine and look at least 75% like the movie design. So I'm in NO hurry to shell out for vehicle limbed robot, when (with a lil effort) I can have a Transformable construction bot limb robot.

oh come ON people!!! do you REALLY expect 2ft of top-heavy combiner to have the strength to hold together with all the joints required for individual modes too? for £100? hell, for under £300 even?

Wow...I too had high hops for Dev and even started setting aside some cash for him, but there is no way I'll spend that kind of money on a combined toy with limited capabilities.

Prime and the rest of the bots look good, so that $100 saved for Devy will go to them.

O.T. Does Bay or the designers have anything against the autobots? I mean really the twins Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum? If this has been said sorry, but the heads look terrible IMO.

I'm not upset about the lack of ability to turn into individual robots, i'm upset about the goofy-ass looking combined mode that looks NOTHING like the CGI model.

No when I say that, I don't mean 100% accurate to the movie bot, that's obviously impossible. but I was expecting the same body type and buildup. The had is supposed to be mounted out of his chest, not on top of his shoulders! and his face isnt so "scrunched" like that, it's more reptilian with a huge mouth and 4 eyes. hell, i dont even know how that face resembled the movie form in the SLIGHTEST!

Oh, come on, we've seen one non-toy pic of Devastator, and it's hunched over showing us mostly the top view of him. We have no idea how those anatomical issues your complaining about compare to the CGI model.

On this one, I gotta agree with Hobbes.

It gave us good look at his face though, and it looks nothing like the toy's face

I'm sorry, but I love the "green ultron" look the CGI model has...
