And the Alternators Mazda RX-8 is....

Gradius-1

I wouldn't be satisfied with any car but a VW beetle when it comes down to bumblebee, screw the stupid WW2 crap. If that's a problem now, why wasn't it 20 years ago? Still, even if Bumblebee wouldn't be a VW I'd still buy it.

I think a Nissan Micra would make a good bumblebee, but a new beetle would be best. Perhaps we should all go and picket our local BMW dealer until the company gives in to our demands

The Mircra looks like a great alternative. The mini wouldn't be too bad either.

Overdrive's kind of obscure though don't you think?

I agree, the look is spot on, but this is just a mock cgi done by Mazda, it could be nothing like the final product. I'm not sure Overdrive is well known enough to be in the running.

It is obscure But it would make sense

They picked a charcter that would not be associated ith any other car . It gives then a fresh chance a marketing rather that picking jazz witch if a porsche .

Anyway The similarity is crazy I mean Red car the head the transformation is very similar .

And mazda do actualy have the toys as models they are just not for sale.

But Im just trying to through some new ideas into this old debate

When the hell are the gonna release Decepticon Alternators?:tfmad I mean, they're supposedly making an alternators cartoon. Who the hell are the Autobots gonna battle, themselves? Oh, and I reckon Optimus would make a cool Mack.
