New Images of Two Ratchets, Universe Hot Shot

Thanks to "yizhi521," we have new angles of Transformers Universe and Henkei! Henkei! Ratchet and the Transformers Universe Hot Shot figures. The images provide a nice comparison of the differences between the Hasbro and TakaraTomy versions of the Ratchet figure, including stripes, light bar, and even the weapon.

gotta say the red alert light bar looks nicer then the Prowl light bar. as for the markings both look ok but the chrome really helps the toys looks.

Huh. Suprisingly enough, I actually like the American version better. Gets a bit more detail on the paint job and the oh-so coveted stripes everyone seems to enjoy. I suppose it's an equal trade-off seeing as how we get the non-chome weapon, but hey, nothing's perfect.

From what I can tell it looks like Jolt will be able to "link up" with Hot Shot. Maybe not the same as in Armada, but hey, at least they threw it in there. I'm basing this off the fact that you can see a semi circle groove, similar to the shape of Jolt's cockpit, in Hot Shot's rear windshield.

Hope they repaint it as the red "Powerlinx Hot Shot" that was in Armada's later waves. I didn't pick that one up.

i do like the hot shot though it looks alot better then the original one from armada

I like when doors can open, but taking a pick of the feature without the car having a interior is kinda pointless.

 

I'm liking Hot Shot and Jolt, and the Ratchets each have there goods and bads. I'm gonna save my money and go domestic.

Gotta say, I like the American paintjob on Ratchet better, though that spot where his hood stripes converge seems like it should have an Autobot symbol on it since it's the right size and shape for one. Maybe in the final release.

Hot Shot looks good. I like Henkei Ratchet's red light bar. I like the stripes on Universe Ratchet. Of course, I'll buy Universe Ratchet. I can't start buying Henkei now, because then I'll have to get Henkei Ironhide to make a matching set.

I think hasbro won this one hands down! Much more interesting paint job and the blue siren is nice added touch. :tfgrin
