Southern California Meeting?

You guys are all making me feel nostalgic for living in SD. Depending on the frequency that you guys want to meet I would recommend Frank and Sons in City of Industry. It'll be a far trek for you SD peeps but it might be worth it for parts and the newest of the new stuff.

Is that good or bad? What part of San Diego are you from?

I have never heard of Frank & Sons before. What is it about? This is a start. What do you guys think? Here is a map of City of Industry:

I have fond memories of SD so good. I went to UCSD so I've lived in La Jolla, then Claremont, La Mesa, Serra Mesa, College Area.

As for F&S, I first heard about it from a girl in SD and I used to drive up every few months or so before I came to LA to visit my family. Basically if you took about 2 or 3 rows of vendors from SDCC and put them in a warehouse, you'd have Frank and Sons. There are vendors that sell comics, sport memorabilia, video games, barbie, beanies, there's even one of the grading service there. And of course toys. Some of the prices are a little scalperish on the new stuff but you can find some good deals on Henkei and even some vintage stuff.

There are also a Wal-mart and TRU close by...and the Mattel factory store (not as great as it sounds).

Plenty of food, little bit of everything but primarily an Asian area so if you guys like Asian food then it's a great spot.

San Diego is very beautiful. The weather is good most of the time. There are so many places to go and I haven't been to most of them. I work on El Cajon Blvd. near College Ave. There's a Target in Lemon Grove just 5 minutes from my work. There's also a Rubio, Mervyn's, Staples, Wal-mart, etc. I don't know if you know that place.

I searched the internet for Frank & Sons and it looks like Comic Con like you said. I can eat any kind of food. It sounds like a cool place to go. I don't know what others think man because there seem to be no more feedback from anyone. I think it's the time and distance that is blocking this meeting because most replied with concerns about distance.
