  3. Transformers: Bumblebee had its early preview screening over the past weekend, and met with unusually positive fan response, for a live action Transformers movie. The praise may not be 100% universal, but it seems evident that the moviegoers who have seen it so far like the different take, breath of fresh air, and potential new directions the movie opens up. But what it means for what comes next in the movie franchise is far from decided. Read more...

    TF Collector Discussion Videos

It's been a long time since my last discussion, and I wanted to do something a little different to see if it's well recieved. My wife has been putting up with my collecting for years, so I figured there must be some questions she's thought up over that time.
  7. I've realized that my old discussion video thread was deleted along with my original account a while back, so let's open this bad boy back up! First, I'll repost my previous vidoes:

  9. When a company decides to make both robots turn into a real world looking, double trailer semi, then I will purcahse one.
  10. We've got some initial out of package photos showing off the Master Optimus Prime G-Shock x Transformers collaboration figure. Toy blogger tagoal tweeted out some quick photos showing the figure in its robot and alternate modes, as well as providing a side by side with Siege Voyager Optimus that seems to confirm our earlier estimate that Master Optimus Prime would come in around the same height as a pre-Siege Leader class Transformer. Chuck's Reviews Transformers Power of the Primes Sinnertwin

    Why is this news?
  15. Sideswipe is a fantastic figure and in my opinion, the best homage we've gotten of G1 Sideswipe. Transformation is involved but intuitive and simple. While I would've liked if there was one more weapon included to better experience the COMBAT system that's a minor and trivial complaint at best. If you're going to buy one Siege deluxe from Wave 1, Sideswipe is the best way to go.
  16. A few days ago, we posted a story about a suspicious bit of language added to HasbroToyShop's FAQ. It hinted around that you miiiiight want to spend your HTS giftcards now, as unspecified "changes" were coming to the store in 2019. And by the way, here's this oddly-worded language about Hasbro no longer offering shopping options on sites related to their brands. All together, it made for a very vague but not terribly reassuring picture for the future of the site. Well... Continue Reading

  18. Good news! The first BotBots toys have been found at brick and mortar retail in the US this evening. Twitter user Trasufoma has reported the find at a Walmart in Massachusetts, where a "stocking stuffer" mid-aisle display unit had one of its bays filled with the blind pack assortment of BotBots Series 1. Making this news even better, Trasufoma has confirmed for us that the seemingly hand-written number codes we observed on the units sent to us for the BotBots Challenge by Hasbro are present on the regular retail run!
