Chuck's Reviews Transformers Cyber Series Battalion Jetfire

30 Mar 2017

Jetfire is a repaint and retool of the previously released Starscream Batallion figure. With the history between the two characters, the irony isn't lost on me. The white paint with red trim is sharp, something lacking on most retail figures. While I would've liked new weapons, I understand that might have pushed the budget. While not as fun as Prowl, it's a solid figure.

Chuck's Reviews Transformers Cyber Series Battalion Prowl

It's always nice when figures appear unexpectedly. Last year or so, when the Cyber Series subline of Generations appeared in South America and overseas, many domestic collectors were left scratching their heads. These new figures featured a simplified transformation with classic G1 ascetics. These figures were hard to come by and many thought that initial line up of figures would be it. Low and behold a few weeks ago two new figures appeared. Prowl is the best figure of the Cyber series thus far with what could be considered standard articulation while maintaining the easy transformation and "chunk" of a simplified figure. If you can only get one figure from the new wave or the entire line, make it Prowl.

Chuck's Reviews Transformers Robots In Disguise Combi...

I guess it can be said that it's the year of Blurr, with a figure in the Titans Return, Rescue Bots, Takara Legends, and now RID line; the character is everywhere. The Warrior Class figure sports a sharp blue and white color scheme, with a clear gun that owes quite a bit to Titans Return Blurrs' blaster. My one complaint is the lack of proper weapon storage, but there are a few mounting points in vehicle mode. Definitely worth a pickup.

I'm back!! I ran into this RID fig in my local Toys R Us and it is pretty much a great toy. Pays nice homage to TFPrime (face) and G1 (colors) along with FoC (vehicle). An almost perfect figure...but those hands!

26 Mar 2017

Posted by KingLir in Transformers General Discussion

Hi All,

Does anyone have English Subtitles for the Original Series (1984-87) Episodes ? Since all DVD releases doesn't include them - but I know fans made subtitles.
I managed to locate some but many are missing. Specifically I am missing the following episodes:
Season 1, Episode 15 - A Plague of Insecticons
Season 2 All Episodes 4-49
Season 3 All Episodes.

Death Reviews: Wolfwire/Monxo - Titans Return

22 Mar 2017

Titans Return wave3 deluxes are starting to turn up in stores!  But for some 'weird' reason, the better half of the wave 2 figures are not!  Is it just Hasbro's bizarre distribution system that has made them so hard to find?  Or are they just really, really good and being snapped up fast?  Find out as we bring you a review of Wolfwire, and his Titans Return head Monxo!
