Alright, I know no one knows me yet, but I'm ranting anyway.

My favorite band up until yesterday, Black Label Society. Well, they posted a bulletin on myspace saying that they're making farging HOT SAUCE now. So I don't react to that well, I comment on the bulletin that they're officially sell outs now, and a lot of people agreed with me. And then I went back to the bulletin and they DELETED all of the comments that had a negative buzz towards their damn hot sauce. But was that it? No. They messaged all the people who opposed the HOT SAUCE to "farg off and don't listen to the music if you don't like it"

Get ready for a whole lot of smileys




So that's it. I know it doesn't seem like that much but these guys were above Transformers in my life. And for the to sell out like that and then shoot me down, it just hurts.

If a band has ever charged you for anything - admission to a show, CDs, iTunes downloads, they are officially not in it for the art. They got bills to pay.

And maybe they love cooking as much as they love making music - it's also a form of expression - and wanted to share that "art" as well.

Take some deep breaths and try looking at it from another viewpoint. You might find you're not as mad at them anymore.

Maybe that's my local authentic Mexican restaurant carries the moniker "eat at your own risk." They just bought a whole bunch of LM's hot sauce to season the food.

At first glance, I thought it was over-reaction and maybe something that would just pass with time.

But they actually deleted the negative posts?

That tells me that, a) they don't care about the opinions of others, and b) they don't like you unless you're kissing some butt. Farg 'em.

You were only expressing an opinion. They could easily have just countered the negative posts with, "Hey, man, we just want to sell hot sauce, which we happen to like!"

And then there was this one time with CHL's mom and the lipstick incident...

I dunno, I like my hot sauces on the sweet side, not the bitter.

This is the only hot sauce I keep in the kitchen.


Well, and sometimes I buy a bottle of this stuff for when I boil crawfish, but since I use the whole bottle, its never actually in my pantry.
