That show sounds crappy.
Lord Madhammer
I hear it's ready to fill in for Smallville if this season ends up being the final one.

You know, now that the show doesn't suck anymore. grr.gif
DarkNarcoleptic
It seemed to work for Teen Titans...and that's it.
Lord Madhammer
Maybe the show is about young Dick's adventures as a trapeze artist for the circus.

Yeah, that's the WTF part, as the Grayson's were never crime-fighters and DJ "don't call me Dick" Grayson ( rolleyestf.gif ) never considered being a crime fighter until his parents were murdered.

At least with Smallville, there was support in the comics for the concept of "Superboy."

For the record, I never knew much about Superboy other than it being ghey and retarded, but I always felt that a Superman origin story had a lot of potential.

As for the origin of a lame sidekick who has jinxed the franchise every time he's appeared... no thx

I find it fascinating how you went from x-treme fanboi to jaded cynicist to born-again worshipper these day, not only when it comes to Transformers, but this as well. Really, the only time I remember Robin 'jinxing' 'the franchise' was with Schumachers' Batman-movies. Which, really, was just the drop that made the bucket overflow.

EDIT: As for "The Graysons", it has some merit, with the Flying Graysons as having been portrayed as having relations with the Gotham Mafia scene. Imagine 'DJ' Grayson trying to balance his own morality with trying to keep his family save by working for the Mafia.
Lord Madhammer
I have no idea what you mean. So I'll just say that Robin always makes Batman suck. (TAS rumblecry.gif)

I guess this could work out. I can see it being something like Smallville. But I'm still not going to watch it.

FTR I never had a problem with Robin in BMTAS.

I think we have the 60s Batman to thank for the characters appreciation as a sidekick.

As a sidekick with the exception of BMTAS I can't stand Robin but as stand alone character or leading Young Justice/Teen Titans he's quite good.

If this pans out it could be interesting. thumbsup1.gif
