I've just gotten my Henkei Thundercracker and his missiles wont stay in the holes in his arms. Its only gravity and mass keeping them in.
Ive posted this here in-case others have the same probs and perhaps it might become news-worthy.
Anyone else?

That sucks, especially for the price you must have paid for it. Out of curiosity do you have Henkei Thundercracker? And does he have the same prolem?

You mean Henkei Skywarp? No he doesn't. Everything is snug. This new THundercracker though has sloppy silver paint spilled on his black feet plus some other paint blurring. For example the silver painted sides of his landing gear/chest thrusters are incompletely painted, unlike my Henkei Skywarp.
Im not that happy with it but my student got it for me so Ill try and add a little clear nail varnish to his arm holes (as his pegs fit in fine under his wings).
I guess some of you outside Japan will post any possible probs when yours arrive in a few days time, eh? Hope its just mine that;s faulty!

If you mean the hole peg that pegs into his ARM, and not the missle into the launcher (is what it sounds like you mean, but i think you mean arm) then this is normal for SOME seekuh's to have. My Skywarp from 2006 set, has this problem (launchers dont peg snug into arm slots) i just leave his on his back when in bot mode. Like the back of his wings, like a backpack. They DO fit, but not snug and tight, Hope thjis helps

apply a coat of clear nail varnish, that should fix the problem

is it possible to exchange figures in Japan?
Whats the general sense of retail/customer service there?

You'll probably need to disassemble the arms, and cut out the excess flash and reassemble, should be nice & tight after that

The arm cannon pegs fit fine into his wings but they simply dont fit into his arm holes. That is terrible. Im not sure whether to apply some nail varnis to his arm-hole or the peg (if the peg has varnish on it then it might not fit under his wings, right?).
Will that work?

Try adding some of the varnish to the peg holes on the arm, then it should not affect the fit of them into the wing slots. If you do, try using a cotton swab to swab the insides(but not the bottom, so it will still set flush with the arm) with a small coating and go from there.
Hope that helps!

Cheers!
My Japanese student just confirmed that HIS Thundercracker has the same fault:
QUOTE
"I bought Thundercracker, too.
I got the first Henkei TF of Starscream type.
I also feel it is brilliant.
I could not connect the missile pod to the arm well. is it the spec?"

Must be a common problem from over-use of the mold. try the nail varnish in the arm holes rather than the actual peg then. I hope it fixes the problem

I repeat, TAKE APART THE ARM, CUT AWAY THE EXCESS PLASTIC SO IT FITS TOGETHER EVENLY, THE PEG WILL THEN FIT FINE

I don't know if this will help or not, but when I purchased my Henkei Ramjet, it was the same way. After muddling with him a little bit, I ended up taking his arm apart and.... they put the wrong sized screw in there. It's a little longer than the arm screw on his other arm (and the rest of my seekers). I don't know if this is the same issue, but it might be worth checking. Thad's probably correct in that the mold's likely just starting to suffer from massive reuse, but while you're doing that, check the scews too.

My Henkei Cracker has the exact same fault as wel. And I thought I was the only unlucky one.

My Henkei Screamer was the same way.
I just put glue in the arm and he's alright now.
Now, him having two left thighs... that's more problematic for me.
