Over 80yrs ago, the Titanic sank to the bottom of the coast off of Newfoundland. While there's been much theorizing about how the "indestructible" ship met with fate on it's maiden voyage, new evidence now points to inferior metals used in the bow and stern of the ship. These metals, recently investigated in labs, showed high concentrations of slag, a smelting bi-product.
