I recently acquired Classics Galvatron. I love this figure, his Tank mode, his bot mode and even the wonky walker option are all great...but it is clear that this bot needed to be a voyager. A galvatron that is not a megs repaint is pretty spectacular and yet we have a deluxe that really says why voyagers are just plain better.
When you add up all of the problems of Classics Gavlatron 90% are all transforming based.
I find that in transforming my Galv I need to remove the turret/arm to get a smooth transformation.
So if we were to get a Galvatron 2.0 (voyager size) here is my list of wishful updates I'd like to see in a new voyager figure:
1. All ball joints replaced by ratcheting joints
2. the turret to arm transformation to be completely automorphed
3. you know in bot mode he has a missile pack? we need removable/launching missiles.
4. auto morph the head
5. more solid work on the walker mode with ratcheting legs and joints.
6. there are 3 hatches, make them open
7. there's a hook on the shoulder, make it useful in tank mode
There that's a start on my list, but do you think if the fandom petitioned Hasbro we could get this.
Is there enough people out there that would really want a cool voyager Classics Galvatron?
