Result of Rick Wright's recent passing. What would your dream band be? The only catch is that it must be made entirely of "dearly departed" musicians. Musicians you thought were dead are also okay.

Make it a cohesive group, you can't just have Janice Joplin on vocals, Hendrix on guitar, Cliff Burton on bass and Keith Moon on drums. (That is, of course, unless you really think that band would sound good.)

For me, it would be a rock and roll supergroup:

Rory Gallagher: guitar
John Entwhistle: bass
John Bonham: drums
Rick Wright: keyboards

I also have a Southern Rock dream group, but its basically made up of the dead half of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the dead half of The Allman Brothers, so...
Lord Madhammer
Jeff Porcaro on drums
Jaco Pastorius on bass
Frank Zappa on guitar
Freddie Mercury on vocals

I think it could work...

Herbicide, huh? icon_sad.gif

I can totally see that working, though. Very eclectic.

The unintentionally funny part is that he's a drummer who really did die in a bizarre gardening accident.
