Looking for some good MAME top scrolling shooters. I already have the 194X series, can any of you guys recommend some good ones?

ikari warriors was awesome but i think the controls are a bit screwy on MAME

shmup games are always fun, I got Triggerheart Exelica on the 360 and there was warning about not laying the tv set down blah blah

I got Galaga Legions its fun but f**king impossible I swear unless you got it down to the nanosecond

Exed Exes is probably my all-time favorite. It's got a really interesting look to it... everything is built on a grid of overlapping honeycombs, and the music is totally hypnotic.

Also - not MAME, but 1942: Joint Strike for the PS3 just came out and is pretty badass, and Ikaruga for the Gamecube is AMAZING, especially with two skilled players.
