Just saw a few at a local TRU today Havent heard it mentioned yet either
Superconductor
Yes---he's here in Maryland. He looks exactly like the first release to me, so I'll be passing. If he had been black like the Energon release or some other coloring, I'd probably get him since I don't have that one. Thank goodness they didn't do that. I'm spending enough as it is right now.
ROSEDOGGYDOG
He's been out here for awhile now, don't know why we needed him again though.

... really? One of the most desired Transformer toys since 1986, huge recent resurgence in popularity of the brand, especially with older collectors who remember the original series (and, in turn, Unicron)?

It's really not surprisingly.
Cool Hand Lube
Yeah, but he was a massive shelfwarmer in either of his other two releases. And the TRU I went to this weekend had not only 10-15 Unicrons, but 10-15 SWTF Millenium Falcon/Han Solo & Chewie sets, and 10-15 SWTF Death (2 years old) Star/Darth Vader sets (1 year old). Say hello to my leetle shelf clogging friends!!!!
Hip-Hoptimus Rime
Saw him at TRU in Schaumburg, IL, near Woodfield Mall. They had 3. Nice to see him out again, I'm actually glad they didn't mess with him. He should not be messed with.
MegaPrime80
I have been waiting for him in Texas. I missed him the first time around but no site of him yet in The Great State of Texas!!!!!
xhairs
i have seen 5 of them.
Soundwinder
Worst part is, TRU will never mark him down, no matter how bad he shelfwarms.
megatronemesis

The thing is, it's been like 5 years since Armada - so a whole new demographic is buying toys now.

I should have bought this thing when i had the chance...at a KB out-let for $15.

Now he's at TRU where he's what $50?

I'm not paying $50 for a toy I should have paid $15 for back in the day.

And at TRU he's staying at $50 or whatever dollars he's at.

I think he's at least $55.

Does TRU do price matching?
Soundwinder
Doubtful, and irrelevant. No one else is selling Unicron so they have no one to match it to.
