The newest member of the iPhone family took more flak yesterday when a recall was announced. The recall affects the USB to plug adapter used to charge the phone from a household outlet. The prongs are susceptible to break off in the outlet and cause electric shock. The recall only affects certain international countries and free replacements will be offered starting October 10th. Any adapter with a green dot is safe.
