Alright well like the first movie there was a bunch of concept arts of bumblebee, optimus, etc..Well im not sure if this has been posted or not but i came across it. Check the picture out.

Looks pretty bad ass too me. Just the legs look a bit off when you stare at it. Is this legit? What do you guys think? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Well, it conflicts with the previous "confirmation" that Jetfire is an Autobot, but I think it's sweet.

I'm sticking with the "Jetfire is an Autobot spy" theory.

The concept art looks cool. Not sure if it's official, but it looks more legit then the Megatron pics.

Looks very bulky, more like a Gundam than a Tranformer. Cool design, tho, very mean-looking and intricate.

Lol it could be legit, only thing that throws it off is that it says deciptacon and Jetfire is more likily Autobot.

Besides, SR-71's have been retired from active duty in the USAF since the late 90's, with only two flyable ones at NASA. The rest are in museums. I checked wikkipedia on this:

My point is that since the SR-71 is retired, and all of the Transformers we've seen in the movie are relatively new vehicles, why would they use a relic? I'm sure storywise it could make sense, but the Blackbird isn't exacly a machine that was designed for aerial combat.

if its fan made its cool if its offical Im wondering why that LoC proto looked so different since its engines turned into the legs not the arms and even LoC toys at least try to be similar to the larger counterparts

You know, he could start out as a Decepticon then for whatever reason change factions later on. That would definitely be in line with his first appearance on the old cartoon. That might make for a nice dramatic angle if they wrote it well. Now just think about that cool design merged with Optimus as was reported this morning. Now THAT would be pretty slick. Maybe that's why the legends figure looked so different too. Maybe it's made more to combine with the Optimus legends figure instead of turning into his own robot. That might explain that long legged Gerwalk look to him- like he clips on the back of Optimus or something like that.

Say what? A blackbird jet is so much bigger than a semi truck...maybe Prime becomes armor for Jetfire?

I don't know, Prime's pretty big, and they're pretty clever with how these movie bots Transform. I could see him merging with Jetfire-Jetfire's chest and legs and arms opening up-kind of like Ripley getting into the crane suit in Aliens. Something along those lines. Or, it could just be Jetfire in jet mode attaching to Prime's back to allow flight. Something simple like that.

There is only one more possible alt mode for Jetfire(as a combat jet) and that the F-14 Tomcat... the original concept for the VF Valkyries!

Seriously, you HAVE to joking. There is NO WAY to compare the legends toys to what it will REALLY look like. They are made for quick easy conversion with their parts waaaaay off from the actual model. Please think clearly, when making an argument.

I wasnt trying to sound like a dick, but when i read it back it DID sound this way. This is why i put in the extra bit about dont take it serious after i submitted my post already. I do that alot, submity a post and then add more in after without having to *edit* it all the time. My bad if it affended you, it wasnt meant to. But i DID like your comeback. Good one.

However, i do believe that a single legends figure that could be transformed wrong isnt a good comparison. But i see your point too. All is well.

The creator's of the Jetfire design (they're a pair who work together on these designs) are members of the Don Murphy boards who go by the screen names Jester JJZ and Jolin. They're done numerous fan concepts including Motormaster and Trailbreaker, among others. The designs look so good because these two are professional graphic designers using high-end professional software; the same type of software that the movie dsigners are using.

you know looking at it its rather too symmetrical its just a cut and paste from left to right.

JetFire looks Cool I like.

None of the real concept art had height measurements, three-view diagrams of the alt mode (most just had a random photo of the alt mode), labels like "FACTION: DECEPTICON" or a big ol' Decepticon insignia. All of that stuff screams "FAN."

That Constructicon dump truck one isn't real either, it was first posted over a year ago and someone reposted it when the "Devastator combiner is in TF2" rumor surfaced (although, it was impressive enough to the movie production crew that the artist did get hired to do concept art for TF2 - but considering the legal issues of using something created by someone before they were hired to do a job, I seriously doubt it would get used).

Actually, there wouldn't be any legal issues at all as long as the artist was paid a fair price for the piece. From what was said on the official movie blog, it appears that's exactly what happened too.

1, this is fake and fan made been around for ages on the TFW2005 fan arts section.

2, hes fine and a toy wouldn't mind BUT... his colors really stink. I mean, pure white and black? What is he dark chocolate?

3, hes looks huge. Just to throw that in...

He Looks Pretty Cool to me..Just his Legs area throw me off a bit..I mean i wouldnt mind if he was like that in the movie..they just gotta Change a few parts
