What has been described as "Africa's Unicorn", the rare Okapi was photographed for the first time using non-conventional surveying. The Okapi, which has the tongue of a giraffe and the rear section of a zebra, is only known to reside within the Congo region of Africa. Although there has been evidence that the creature has existed since the early 1900s, this is the first time visual proof has been submitted.

But what about the esquilax...the legendary horse with the head of a rabbit, and the body of a rabbit?

The photographer was later quoted as saying, "Fukcer was damn tasty, too!" Park officials had no comment.

For the first time
in the wild. There are already Okapi populations in captivity at various zoos. Which begs the question of where exactly they got their Okapi from in the first place?

They repainted antelopes and other random deers, and re-released as zoo-exclusive
Okapi.
