I like that robot mode a lot. The alt mode is kinda but I guess any non-dino alt mode would look weird for him.

I don't really like the idea of making BW Megs a p*ss like Ultra Magnus who needs an exo-suit to get around. One of the big themes of BM was that - no matter what form he's in - Megatron will kick your ass.

Megatron may not need the exo-suit, but he's never been one to turn down a potential advantage.

My only problem with this art is that he has a regular right hand and a gun on his left. It should be the other way around to match his head-hand in the show.

His tank mode also seems too sleek and rounded to really fit the character, but that's not so big a deal.

I wouldn't have gone with the gun arm...more the direction of Energon Barricade....still could have gotten the same end result...but I'm just a fan boy

*edit* oh, not a gun arm, it's a hand weapon...neeeeeever mind

Great job! I like how they justified his pre-BW form and tank mode in Timelines.

It looks like all he does to transform is put his legs together and do a sitting toe touching exercise with his hands. Lame.

Aside from it having arms, that's a pretty good comparison...

Go-bot exosuits... And they say the energon combiners were bad.

I actually liked the concept that that gobots combiner basically made it so anyone could be part of it for some reason.

Hmm...so basicly he's a pretender.... I mean look, he even transforms like one. Just look at almost any non-classic pretender.

Not a bad thing, just an observation.

Anyway, his alt mode does seem a little too curvy for him, but still a neat idea.

The alt-mode looks like a lady's pleasure toy.

I really don't think it fits Megatron. It looks more like Shockwave. I'm trying to figure out what's up with the big hollow bot that looks like it could be Fort Max. I know this is supposed to be Pre Beast Wars but there's allot of G1 here.

The 'big hollow bot' is an exo-suit this particular Megatron wears.

Think of it like a Pretender shell minus the Pretender gimmick.
