I likes me some Newcastle, Shiner Bock, and/or Fat Tire in most cases. Although if a place has Guinness on tap, I'll usually opt for a pint. And a black and tan is lovely.
With liquor, I get kinda girly, and I like rums and flavored vodkas mixed with coke or in some sort of frozen concoction, Jimmy Buffet style.
The harshest drink I ever had was the Leatherhead (or Leatherneck, I can never remember). It's a shot of 151 with Tabasco in it. My friend Rob and I would order them, and then the bartender would hold the Tobasco bottles over the shots, letting it drip in slowly into the liquer - whoever called for him to stop would buy the round.
The only time I've ever thrown up from drinking was from one of these (but then, I'm a light weight).

has anyone tried the new shiner's? i'm itching too because I love the first 3.
the only girly thing I touch is that new LandShark. which is so smooth its scary. otherwise I like most Sam Adams. guiness, harp, bass, Old Chub, various other full bodied beers and ales.
I don't drink mixed drinks except kamikaze's. otherwise its straight shots. no training wheels K? thx.

People often say to me "NLTAG, why are you drinking PBR? are you some kind of hipster cig?"
and I respond to them "No, I'm farging poor and PBR tastes better than Steel Reserve or Milwake's Best."
Then they ask me "NLTAG why do you do shots of Jager, are you Heavy Metal?"
And I say "Excuse me I couldn't hear you over the Manowar, let me turn it down."
Also when I have some cash I have been known to drink straight Bombay Saphire.

Fat Tire is great stuff, and I had a Black & Tan over the weekend while washing down some Polish Sausage. I tend to go towards pale ales and pilsners. MGD is about the only domestic brew I'll touch, although I'm always looking for new microbrews to experiment with. For imports, I am a Heine fan. Also go for Openheimer Spaten (Germany) and Hansa (Denmark). Those last 2 are extremely clean tasting beers that can knock you on your ass quick!
For liquor, I'm a rum mixer. Also like a good screwdriver as an appetizer, although I will also take shots of flavored Vodka. Stoli Bluberi, Smirnoff Vanilli and Absolut Currant are my choices there. Right now, I have a lovefest for the Irish Car Bomb. 1/2pt Guinness, 1oz Jameson and 1oz Baileys. It's a dunk and slam type of mixer, but man it goes down good!

I've discovered Shiner Bock and am happier for it... but at home I drink Corona. I had a Guinness phase, but honestly it was always just a bit too soupy for me. I don't drink hard liquor because to me, that's what you do when you're in college (though I have been known to imbibe the occasional "

I used to drink Corona quite a bit. but my wife is Mexican and for some reason they don't worry about getting beer cold.? so anyway I quit buying it b/c now when I buy my beers I just tell her family "no you need to chill this beer so I'm taking the 3 week old leftovers out and putting my beer in the fridge".

for beer i go for coor light, killian's irish red, miller chill, or guinnes. i'm not a conosour so those 4 cover the beer spectrum for me just fine.
for mixed drinks i go for black russians (2 parts vodka, 1 part kaluha over ice), kryptinite (2parts vodka, 1 part midori, with lime juice squeezed in with a salted rim) or if i really wanna get hammered a 4 horseman (1 part bacardi 151, 1 part rumplmintz, 1 part wild turkey 101, 1 part jack daniels maybe, its been a while) if i'm at chili's i go for 2 for 1 margaritas or jack and coke. if i'm at home leting the wife watch me drink it's jager and mello yello.

Beers I most regularly drink (starting with my all time favorite)
Shiner Bock
Just about anything else from the "little brewery in Shiner"
Anything from the
Abita Brewing CompanyHarp Lager
Guinness - from the tap, but sometimes I'll buy the kind with the "widget" in the can/bottle if I'm really, REALLY desperate
Modelo Especial and Negra
Most Sam Adams beers
This list is far from complete, though, as I drink a wide variety beers and I'm always ready to try something new.
As far as mixed drinks and hard liquor:
Jack and Coke is my cocktail of choice
SoCo and Dr. Pepper (I don't know what this is called, but it will f*ck you up quick)
I also like margaritas and have a quick recipe that I usually use, which is equal parts tequila, Triple Sec, and
Simply Limeade (Simply Orange Brand). (Frozen is ghey, BTW).

You know, I dared one of my counter salesmen to have a Four Horseman (Jack Daniels, Jimmy Beam, Johnny Walker and Jose Cuervo). I offered him $20 plus the cost of the shot. He only agreed to do it if he could puke on my car afterwards.

What you had was a variant, but a true Four Horseman has all 4 J's as the ingredients (if you use only 3 Js and substitute with, say El Reposado, then it's called Three Wise Men).

the closest to wine I get is drinking Mead, but not Chaucer's. its way to sweet. Lurgashall is pretty good. there is a winery in Colorado, can't think of the name, that makes a decent Mead. although a bit dry for me it has good flavor.
