Hey, if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I ask a MOD to please move it.
I was snooping around Walmart in Riverdale NJ today and in the clearance isle was a brand spanking new Premium Megatron marked down to $20.05.
I can't provide evidence as I had a cart full of marked own assorted items which my brain convinced me to abandon as in the past 2 days I dropped about $300 on TFs and still haven't gone food shopping in over a month. Again, I don't know if this is all over, I plan on checking my local Walmart tomorrow to see if it is(I'm fiending Premium Prime for some reason). Either way I figure mention it cause after all what's it hurt to visit the price scanner while hunting?
Hope you save a buck, & happy hunting, -Liege

No, it's at my Wal-Mart in South Texas, however they're at $25 here and they only have Premium Leader Megatron.
If they had Prime I'd have been all over that deal.

Well, I checked a WM today in the NW Chiago suburbs and Movie Leaders were still $39.96 or whatever. I'll keep an eye out tho, I'll buy another Movie Leader at $20-25, no matter who it is. Thx for this heads-up!

This sounds right up the alley for the reports that Wal-mart would be completely emptying their Movie stock in favor of Animated. I'll keep my eyes open, as I would like a movie Megs, just not at $40.

I've seen plenty of Leader Brawl's (no Deep Dessert versions have ever hit my Wal-Mart), Premium Prime, and Premium Megs in Wal-Mart. But since I have all three Leaders in their original versions already, I haven't paid any attention to their price. I think they're still at $49.92CAD (!!!), the price of the Animated Leaders. (before tax)

I did scan Premium OP and it was regular price but this was on Monday.

Nope.
Walmart just got in Premium Optimus/Megatron and both retail for 59 CND.
Uh, yeah right.
I'd maybe pick up Megatron for 45 but for 60, I can't justify that for one figure.
I think I'll just wait for the animated leader to start showing up and buy them for that.
Already saw Bulkhead retailing for 45 CND elsewhere so it should be the same for Megatron.

With how many premium megs they have which is a whole endcap full like 20, they were new and full priced last time i checked.

After the WalMarts around here did the most recent reset, most kept shelf space for Movie Deluxes and Leaders - so still full price. I'm not sure if the couple that no longer have Leaders shelfspace ever got around to clearancing them, as I think they just stopped stocking them long enough before the reset that there were none that needed it.
Target still has shelf space dedicated to the movie Leaders as well.
I think the movie line sold well enough, that Hasbro's keeping at least the Deluxes and Leaders available for stores to order for the moment (but I think they're done with the Voyagers).

As of early this morning the clearance isle of my local walmart has only one tf item. Payload. Two pegs each crammed full, plus two Payloads sitting on top of them. And still at full price!

And Pegload strikes again!

Loading pegs to bending point!

Last time I was in Wal-Mart, they had tons of Deluxe Allspark Power and Animated figures, even on the top shelf! Nothing on clearance so far.

Plenty of movie leaders out here, but all still full price. I would be all over them if they were $20, and for some stupid reason, I do still want the last 3 - Premium Prime/Megs, DD Brawl.

I maybe could be convinced to get a Movie Premium Prime at $20. No more than that, though.

I checked a Walmart close to my house, and it was full price. I asked the clerk who was pulling things off the shelves if they where going to be marked down. I explained that I saw it cheaper in RiverDale and all...
She told me something but I don't know what it was, I realy gotta learn Spanish.
An odd thing about Riverdale NJ, I was looking for a discounted DS Starscream, and all my local Targets never discounted them, they had it for $13.98. Its strange that in a different chain, but the same town a different clearance started. RiverDale also seems to get items first in both chains.
I don't know if it's something about the rural area or not, but whatever, Walmart does seem to be looking to clean house, so even if this isn't widespread, I'm still checking scanners. As I said, it can't hurt.

Unfortunately, Wal-Mart clearances vary a lot on a store-to-store basis, such that you can't really depend on finding things marked down even if other locations had them.
On the other hand, generally when any Target marks something down, they all do... but the discount may then vary by store.

My local Wal-Mart has Movie Leaders at full price, and it's just a slew of Premium Optimus. Not a single Megatron in sight.
I thought Megatron and Optimus were packed together? Or at least Optimus was packed with someone else, but no. The woman said it's been case after case of Optimus, and him alone.
Very odd.
The store also received 2-3 full cases of Premium Deluxes. Bumblebee, Jazz, Barricade, plus Allspark Power Cliffjumper, Jungle Bonecrusher, etc.
And...two full cases of Movie Voyagers. Rescue Ratchet, Megatron, Thundercracker, and Optimus. (not first strike, but the original.)
I was stunned to see so many figures, especially ones that sold out and have become scarce like these have.

I check the Wal-Mart each time I go to the town it's in, 'cause the way the movie-TF stuff is tucked away, one would think it's on clearance. But each time I scan them, they come up full price.
I might get Premium Megs or Desert Brawl if they drop in price. We'll see. I've kinda moved past the movie lines, though.

yeah, I went to my local Wally-world today, and they actually had an endcap of Premium Primes (and only Prime) set up, still asking for $40. Kinda pissed me off, as it let me see just how much frakking stock this Wal-mart had to blow through.
The sighting of a Voyager Prime didn't make things any better, as that means there's a chance Blitzwing was there and I missed him.
