Full Version: Problem with Tankor

I apologize in advance if these kinds of threads are not permitted.

So I got Tankor/Octane, and I thought he was great. A day later, I see that his right wing is loose, and has a hard time staying up. When I turn it, the black piece on the underside does not move with it, as it does on the other wing. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or am I doomed?

(I threw away the packing...maybe I could buy a new one and return the old one in the new box? rumblecry.gif)

its not broken by the sounds of it just loose if it really bugs you just pop the wing off and add a bit of glue

I got PowerGlide today and have a feeling that the main swivel on wings will have breaking issues. Mine showed stress marks out of the package, and the plastic bent when I moved the part past the locking nub. I fear splitting of that vital joint.

I only mention it incase someone does have a fix for that cause for me thats always equaled doom.

I've heard that you can just loosen some screws and it'll be loose enough that the plastic won't stress when transforming him. Also, you can use a hair dryer to fix stress marks.

Wow, glad I brought it up then. How exactly does the hair dryer work on stress marks? I understand the heating, but beyond that...
