mlynch24 Emailed me with this earlier. It's all in Chinese but it lists "Upcoming" TFA figures...including Omega Supreme, Arcee and the Constructicons. Take it for what it is. Still it's kind of exciting. Now if they would just confirm with Pics...Thanks ML.

Would be a shock to me so soon considering:

"Animated Omega Supreme - no plans yet."

http://TFormers.com/article.php?sid=9906

Now the Constructicons and Arcee we know about and those have been confirmed.

Omega would be awesome. Probably the only toy (from this line) I would buy at the supreme price range.

Good news all around if it's accurate.

How is superimposing a cartoon image over preformed movment via computer more complex then actualy drawing the frames?

The origional Loony Tunes did something similar. After a episode was storyboarded, the artists would film themselves in the parking lot going through the motions, then go back and hand draw the episodes refrencing the film they made. That sounds far more complex to me, and the use of talent as apose to digital diagrams produced a better looking product as well.

It's just a joke, dude. Albeit, I concede it might not be a very good one. But King Kong = Andy Serkis Mocap = Funny picture.

Silly Liege Evilmus, Nobody actually DRAWS every frame anymore! optimuslaugh2.gif
[/EndKidVoice]

Now-a-days we all have computers to do our animating for us. We draw two "key frames" (right in the computer) and let the computer fill in the middle. All of the cheep little cartoons on CN, Nicktoons, and Disney Chanel use this method. A few years ago Disney even fired all of their regular cell animators in lieu of 2D computer animation (albeit their software is quite a bit more sofisticated). All of the animation in "Enchanted" was done in the computer, and they're working on a new cartoon film "The Princes and the Frog" that will be done (2D) entirely in the computer.

given scrappers hight and slim body he could end up like lock down comming very close to leader size.

now mix master I dunno but so long as the 2 factions are in scale with each member I'm very happy since it will be a first ever that they even come close since beast wars

Yeah I know, and thats why cartoons today look like crap. When I was an art teacher I use to talk with the kids about BragonBall and all that crap, and they'd tell me how nothing could be better than that. So every year I'd floor them with some old Tom and Jerry, Daffy Duck, and the Flescher Superman cartoons.

Fluid animation that rarely ever stopped for more than 2 seconds, detailed backround and forgrounds, no stock footage, it truely was a Golden Age!

Granted I still watch cartoons today, but it's not the same, and each year I seem to watch them less. Watching them is like sitting in a coach seat after a life time in first class, you'll get to the same place you just won't enjoy the trip as much.

I'm really curious about the confirmed figures.. Waspinator in particular.. and I'm also curious if Arcee is gonna stay true to the G1 model or are they gonna make her a bike or something ..

Can we get an Emoticon that says "IF THERE WERE PICS TO PUT UP WE WOULD! >*("

The point of the thread is...this is the first listing and possible confirmation, that I know of, of a potential Omega Supreme figure. If it turns out to be true I'm sure there will be pics soon.

Anyway, I'm lookin forward to most of these figs. hope Omega Supreme is at least in scale to the ledgends tounge1.gif Also hope Arcee is as feminine as the Blackarachnia toy and her show model. as for the constructicons, their show size looks voyager, but if they actually build devastator deluxe is fine laughlol.gif
and I swear to god if Waspinator is just a repainted BB with a new head I'll kill Hasbro sterb155.gif

Well kind of. I think they had different alt modes on Cybertron though didn't they? We'll just have to wait and see what his alt mode is once he makes it to Earth...or back to Cybertron...which ever.

I will also agree that IF they plan on doing the rest of the Constructicons and have them merge into Devestator...then I'll be happy with Deluxe. Otherwise I'll be kinda disappointed they aren't Voyager class figures.

Yea well I just hope he either

1. keeps his cybertron mode
2. or scans something else (like maybe a wasp tounge1.gif )

That's just about how I feel about it (I liked DBZ, for it's story but I could have done without all the stock footage). I was dumbfounded when I read that Disney was shutting down their cell animation. They're DISNEY for crying out loud! Thats what they DO!

As to the rest, I would be surprised if Wasp doesn't become Waspinator. I think I've read about him already being called that by some officials (could be wrong about that), the last shot of him we see in the cartoon has him using Waspinator's voice, and now there's news about the Beast Wars writers making some "Predacons Rising" miny.

I guess it could all be fake, but it seems fairly credible to me.

I agree. the storyline is okay, but the extreme amount of stock footage bytes ass.

Optimus3000
In the two seconds we got to see his alt mode, didn't Wasp look like a dune buggy?

And it would only be following the story if Wasp had the same transformation as BB. They're from the same protoform mold, it states that in the show. Thus, I wouldn't mind, but I don't think that's what they're going to do, if he indeed does have a toy.
