Hey guys. I was cleaning up a few minutes ago, and didn't really feel like throwing away the packaging blisters(since they took up most of my trashbag.

)
So, I had an idea. can the packaging blisters be used in place of a material like styrene?

styrene is usually more structurally stable i think. compare that blister packaging to that of a cd case andyou'll see what i mean, if you require bits to ben a little though then it could work well i suppose.

Anything can be used in kitbashing, DEPENDING upon what you are using it for: I used blister packaging for the helmet visor of a 1/6 scale figure, but I had to heat-form it to what I wanted. With this in mind, you could porbably use it for clear display panels, like teletan-1's screen (if it's flat, like the front of a TF box), or for things like Jazz's visor, provided you paint it transparent blue. But as far as using it for things like structural support, I would have to say no. The plastic is probably either a clear acetate, or polypropeline (my guess). For structural pieces, ABS is the best way to go, with styrene being for major details, IMO.
