for some reason i never draw the whole bot, so i thought i'd see what i could do. just let me say, i hate the legs and knees. i wanted to use alot of curved lines, and overall i'm pleased. the pick is dark because it's a picture of the pic, no scanner here. i know i still have alot of work to do, but through me some crits.

Nice so far =)

What you could use for the joints would be called "virtual joints" ... it simulates one joint through multiple smaller joints.
In the case of knees allowing them to bend up to 180° without having to cut out stuff space from the Legs or similar !!!
Of course a kneeplate to cover it, and a lot of cables to fill it would be recommendet, else the bent knee would look hollow icon_wink.gif

(sorry for the quick&dirty paint pic)

I haven't seen such joints in drawings yet, but in lot's of aplied mechanics icon_wink.gif

I like this a lot.
I really like how his back arm has a hint of the G1 wheel well to it.

I think Schlecki02 has a good point on the joints - not that these joints look bad - but it will help you keep your bots spatially consistent.

I also like that he has the semi-Anime DreamWave look but with out the pillowy'ness.
