The debacle began at CC's HQ, where some corporate folks were offended by a piece in the magazine entitled "Sucker City". I had a MAD subscription that recently ran out. I got the subscription to research it for freelance humor writing opportunities. It was OK, but not great. It was pure toilet reading, and nothing more.
That being said, I had no idea Circuit City sold magazines. Who buys magazines there?

For me Showgirls was worth it if only because I got to live an adolescent fantasy and see Jessie Spano's rack.
Multiple times.

I do. They're much better now that they ditched the commission sales and set their stores up like Best Buy.
Best Buy and Circuit City are pretty much equal in my city. Poh-tay-toe, poh-tah-toe.

I don't get to go to nudie bars all that much.
Plus with a DVD you can just skip to the good parts.
(Showgirls had "good" parts? Wa-wat?)

I don't, at least not after the overtly rude treatment I received from their so-called "sales staff".
