The Nerf N-Strike line is getting a truly amazing new weapon in the near future. The NERF N-STRIKE Vulcan EBF-25 battery-powered machine gun is fully automatic and can shoot darts at a rate of up to 3 per second!!!

It is going to retail for $40, but that price includes the gun, a 25-dart ammo belt that feeds through the gun, an ammo box that holds the belt, 25 darts with which to arm yourself and a collapsable tripod upon which to rest the entire thing. There is a value pack available which comes w/ an additional ammo belt, 25 additional darts and a shoulder strap to hold this beast if you want to carry it.

It can be shot either as a single-shot weapon by using a charging handle (similar to the Longshot) or fired on full auto with the flick of a switch (powered by six D batteries).

It can also be augmented with N-Strike laser sights and tactical lights through 3 seperate mounting rails.

I have a bunch of these guns b/c I have a young niece and nephew and they love dart gun wars (and admittedly, so do I), but this... this gun is amazing! I would buy this gun w/o having any others from the line at all (although the other guns are quite cool as well). This is the kind of stuff that I would have loved to have when I was a kid, and I can't wait to have the kids over for a full blown Nerf gun war!!!
Blitz
that is rather cool but I would loose all the darts after the first week
UncleJoe420
I would get one of these, but it will never see the light of day over here in Blighty!! icon_sad.gif Will keep an eye out on ebay for one instead..

I bet they'll need a permit, a background check and 20 hours of training to own one of those in Australia.
Bestimus Mucho
it will be mine. I was just thinking that there haven't been any new nerf guns lately.

I prefer the nerf sniper rifle.

I like Nerf grenades, myself. Just tape a bunch of darts together and throw.

Stormtrooper53
LOL to the NERF sniper rife with a range of 35 feet.

I wish I still had a cat. I bet I could have some fun with it and a belt-fed NERF machine gun.
Bestimus Mucho
Nerf safetly restrictions are easy to remedy. If you take out the air regulator on most guns you can get up to 3 times the range.

Okay. Hypothetically speaking: if someone were to wish to perform said modification on a NERF gun, how might one go about it? Is there some sort of resource, website, or anarchist's handbook where one might obtain such information? I'm asking purely out of curiosity.

Bestimus Mucho
there's a bunch of websites out there. Just google nerf mods.

also go to nerfhaven.com, newfhq.com, nerfworld.com... ect

Anyone know the legality of mounting that Nerf Vulcan gun on the roof of your car, say, next to the sunroof?

Stormtrooper53
No thanks. I remember when we had our second baby, my wife finally let me put the cat outside. I was all hellokty.gif

And then about six months later he just up and disappeared. My family was all rumblecry.gif but not me!
I was even more

^ That was pretty freaking awesome. That has to be the mother of all Nerf gun wars. Very impressive indeed.

Yeah, I picked up a Vulcan today and I have to say, it is well worth the $$. You get a lot of stuff for $40, plus the gun itself is just freaking awesome. I can't wait to have my niece and nephew over for Nerf gun wars!!! This thing is seriously fun.

I picked up my Vulcan today and all I have to say is that it was well worth the price.

Hasbro also has a pre-order they just put up for additional ammo belts. I just dropped another $40 on 4 more belts along w/ 100 more darts. I have a weakness... and my girlfriend is worried this is the beginning of another collection (TFs obviously).... damn, she might be right.
Stormtrooper53
Well, this is just great. Now I want to get one of these, bring it to work and shoot up my co-workers. Now I think I'm psychotic.
SMITHSQUARED
thanks to that video, I am going to target and getting some nerf gun right now!!!

Stormtrooper53
I actually want that N-Strike Recon CS-6. It's an assault rifle, its a SOCOM pistol, it's a bullpup, it's MODULAR!

All the more reason to buy one.

Regarding the toy industry there's one thing I don't get. Nerf can make all kinds of badass brightly coloured full sized weapons and Hasbro has to literally bend over backwards for something that looks a smaller Mavrick.

Maybe if it shot foam darts the critics would stfu already.
OP2K5
I held one of these puppies in my hands this past weekend. One cannot express the feeling of pure Nerf power you get from holding it. One of my friends got the "value" box, that came with an extra ammo belt (50 darts now) and a shoulder harness. Holding this thing with the shoulder strap on is like nothing else short of actually holding a real heavy machine gun. I felt like Jesse Ventura in "Predator." This thing is UNBELIEVABLY badass!

And the 3 darts per second firing rate? Just hold the trigger in and you'll burn through the belt way fast. The only downside is the damn batteries. it needs 6, FUCKING SIX D-cell batteries, which in themselves cost a shitload. And with more than about five hours of consistent play, the batteries will start to wear out. The firing rate slows down considerably. You can still hand fire the thing, but there's really nothing like the full auto. If they could find a way around the D-cells and still keep something like this fully automatic, this would be THE Nerf gun to get, forever and ever, amen & stuff.

NERF MODDERS: CAR BATTERY POWERED VULCAN NOW PLEEZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
