Looks good man! Did you repaint the entire thing like mine? I'm still waiting for my labels but in the mean time I've also silvered up the rims.

Yeah, I painted the legs and missle launchers grey, and the missles chrome.... totally inspired by you!

The lightbar is Barricades, which IMO also looked better than the original Classics Prowl's.

Trust me, the pics with the reprolabels don't do it justice. They really put the finishing touches on Classics Prowl.

I want yours so farging BAD. If only I had spending money...

Hard to tell but looks like you caught the one thing that annoyed the hell outa me, the glint of white that comes up from the hood hinge on the edges, painted black yes?

Prowl is my absolute favorite (and second) transformer ever, way back in '84 as a kid. I had to make some improvements to a great mold, but poor detailing.

Backfire, I did paint the white that was under the front of the hood... it bothered me as well.

I just wish I could get some less fuzzy pics up - GRRRRR

Try taking your pics in normal daylight and near a window. Use a macro setting if you have it and timed shots along with a camera stand really help too. I don't actually have a stand so I use cardboard boxes and books lying around.

Onto other news: I finished my Prowl yesterday. Labels came in. I was a little bummed to find that the label sheet didn't contain "Highway Patrol" labels for the doors. I've contacted reprolabels to see if I can get something done about that since I painted over the entire door and fender assembly. We'll see what happens.

Awsome detailing - what did you chrome his Shoulder launchers with? Those look shiny! Decals also help.

Yeah, I was suprised to see that the door stickers were cut to fit over the black on the doors only. Do you have any pics of yours so far?

Machwulf - thanks for the nice comments. The missles were painted with chrome spray paint.... it was my first attempt at using chrome, and I was suprised at how nice it came out. The missle launchers pop off at the base, so I masked off the missle launchers with painter's tape and gave it a good, even spray on the missles.

FYI: I used a different silver on his missiles and rims than on his shoulders and thighs.

Nicely done! I actually prefer the two-pack Megs instead of the voyager or leader. So many pics (and reviewers) online have him in alt mode with his chest jointed the same as in bot mode. Looks tons better if you just raise it up to be more in line with the back end of the cannon.
