Prowl and Snake Eyes. Cobra Commander and Starscream. Zartan and Lockdown. Bazooka and Bulkhead...it's like they were made for each other.

So there was really a Joe with a football jersey on?

but darn, I might be developing some GI Joe nostalgia that I never had.

edit: laughlol.gif looks like Duke has some fetal alcohol syndrome going on

Gotta have Roadblock.

Just waiting for Scarlett...

Oh man, I can't wait to see what Shipwreck looks like Heroes-ized...drunk, I hope.
Hip-Hoptimus Rime
I've got Snake Eyes w/ Ani Prowl, an Scarlett w/ Movie Arcee. Both good fits. Yay crossovers!

And Drunk Shipwreck FTW. Like that one Strip in ToyFare. "Are those parrot chunks?"

YES

My image of most of the Joes has been formed entirely by Toyfare jokes

I had my fair share of exposure to G.I. Joe as a kid, so I know what it's basically about (not to mention the times they crossed over with Transformers - and I used to read my brother's Joe comics). smiletf.gif

But my image of Megos on the other hand are entirely comprised of ToyFare jokes. biggrintf.gif

Those are win.

Waits for Destro and Baroness.

Baroness can go with Ravage.

How about Animated Oil Slick and Buzzer the Dreadnok? I might scoop them up today, they look great together.

Quite honestly, I have to disagree. This may just be coming from a non-G. I. Joe fan, however, i feel g. I. Joes were never meant for little children's hands to just tear up anyway. These make G. I. Joes seem like little playful kids when in reality there trying to kill the Cobras and vice versa.

I do agree they look good with TF animated figures, however.

Honestly, I think that all the "Heroes" lines from Hasbro are designed with the same adult collector market for Kubricks and Mini-mates in mind. The simplicity of the figures and the two-pack formula makes it easier to gamble on the obscure stuff that might not warrant a regular release from a cost perspective stand-point, which is why we've seen so many Beast Wars* and G1 characters getting represented in the line.

And if little kids like 'em, so much the better.

*which, now that I think about it, could also "cross over" with Animated, scale wise.
Lord Madhammer
These lines are big with both kids and collectors... which has been Hasbro's MO for a long time. They themselves said at SDCC (after thinking about it for a while, heh) that the Mighty Muggs were the only thing they made that could really be considered "just" collector items.

Now, I am simply going to assume you bought the Transformers Animated, little heroes, correct? now I understand that they do go very well with them, except, it seems Hasbro is doing this with every franchise. The only one I really care about though is Transformers, and i really like what they did with them.

It is a money maker, and if the young children buy it, yes, the better as they'll continue making more and more. I just hope quality remains good, and that they will release more, you?

I think that's the case now, but the original Star Wars ones were clearly intended and marketed to toddlers (they were part of the Play-Skool line).

Then they realized they were selling too good, and there had to be someone other than momies, and dadies buying them.

The bots are decent, the star wars ones (i have around 7 of them) are not to great imo, and the joes look decent. However, i will not buy these as toys are too much now adays to get all different franchises. I'll stick to toon starwars, He Man, & Transformers kthnx

*Toon basic Starwars i.e. Clone Wars toon or Clone Wars CGI

I just love the expression on Roadblock's face.
