Poor old G1 Seaspray,part of the "hippie" minibots from 85,crap Alt mode & that bubbly voice.Fit for little more than gaurding the base.Well not this time,now Seaspray gets a nasty side..Seaspray was made from Energon Mirage with a few minor mods,most of the Add ons were from an airfix vosper torpedo boat kit.The face plate was made from the Anchor with a few grooves cut in it.I swaped the original weapons for more realistic torpedo launchers & used them to make a pair of harpoon guns..Seaspray was painted with games workshop paints,mostly burnished gold,dwarf bronze,codex gray & a custom mix blue.Alt mode pics as soon as the varnish cures.Loads more pics here..http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd62/jockeydenob/Movie%20Seaspray/

Although I agree with Rumblebee, this looks far more like a great paintjob on a Classics fig than anything from the Movie line. (Which is a compliment, BTW! )

Yeah i do agree,aside from the sea vessel mode & "Vaugely similar" colours there`s not much to define him as seaspray,but the way i see it most of the movie bots were pretty different from the Originals.
This was the main reason i went with movie not classics.

Love the harpoons and colour scheme - awesome painting. Not so keen on the aerial thing, but oh well, can't have everything...

Mirage! lol No he looks dope man. I'll give ya that. DEFINITELY Movie like Seaspray i'll have to agree with you there. The alt mode is total and the robot is movie enough (or exact science) to G1's Seaspray.
