Most people wouldn't remember me, I was around when TFans roughly first started and was here for much of the History of INH. Man what heavy times those were. I've been away mostly tending my own board. Though i come back from time to time to see what TEH FUNNI3 is going on.

I wonder about gen 0, sfc used to post some too. where the hell is Hot Rod? I know wikkid is still around but never posts in here. The Splendic, Marcus Prime and Turbine were all around when I got here. after my " 2 year vacation" they were just gone. but there were a bunch of new guys. I remeber when I got back, seeing a thread with freefall, gash,ashtoloth and saying "who the fuck are these guys? and where the hell is gen 0?" but months later, you guys are the regulars now. was glad to see starscreamer come back. but I gotta be honest I don't remember you Ironhide, course you prolly don't remember me either. oh and shadow ES, don casseti and uh...all those guys are gone too. (but for some reason Loki has Shadow ES's sig now, something I've questioned with no response).


I keep waiting for a good banwagon to jump on but so far its all been duds.

I just can't help but wonder what the heck happened to that Nomolos guy...

he didn't listen to the people who said NSFW. got busted and went on the road for 2 years living the gypsy life. except without the werewolves, curses and shyt. actually when I started coming back regularly was after I got my phone. (treo) so I can be on here all the time.

Well I came on of course around March of 04, before the crap hit the fan with the factions. The first "faction" was the Seacons, then "The Protectobots" then the "Seekers" came into the picture. I was actually the creator of the Autobot faction (The Protectobots), the ying to the Seacons yang. Of course our two groups were great friends so we posted and joked and had great fun. Then there were the people who whined and caused crap around the time of the Allspark/TFans merge the ones who couldn't handle themselves with our guests here. Well the closure of INH prompted the people who used to be Seacons to create their own board The Seacon Swamp, and they were kind enough to let our group join them at their place for the continuation of Teh Funn13. Later I came to the conclusion to create my own board in the spirit of the old TFans board and in the spirit of the Swamp. Thats when The Transmatrix was born. You probably don't remember me because I probably had gone by the time you came back or had signed up. From time to time though I still like to come by and see whats up with all my friends who are still here. Although not many are left from that day and age.

But before the crap hit the fan things were a blast around here.

Myself and a fellow poster Triblurr used to run a fun roleplay thread that had specific rules around here. It was called Posts a TF name get a weapon. When you post a name myself or Triblurr would hand out a weapon, anything from a toothpick,skunk, to a bazooka, and it was your job to find a creative way to "kill" another poster in the thread( it would be to the other posters own will if he got killed or not, but most people were good sports and played along quite well), of course if you got killed the weapon would be gone, you would have to type a specific phrase then to be reinstated into the game, and then post a name of a tf as well to recieve another weapon. If I can find the rules I might start that thread back up in here maybe. If there would be an interest in it.

I think "what happened to _____" all the time, only to find out they haven't gone anywhere. They just changed their names, avatars, and signatures, thus becoming 100% unrecognizable to anyone who didn't know they made the change.

I used to be Unicrons Herald, but changed to Asthaloth as it's the screen name I use damn near everywhere else.

I think the real problem with name changes is that sometimes people change to a new name, and then i think they are someone else. And I don't mean literally someone new, but someone I knew before. Like you Astaloth, I confuse you with two other people I've known online for the past few years, and I can't get my head around who is who sometimes. So as an extreme example, I might IM someone about something that was said online, only to find out the person I IM'ed wasn't the guy who made the post.

If it were possible to mod up the forum to only allow name change in INH, or to have an "original name" field under the post profile (the thing with your avatar) so you know who the guy really is. That might be helpful.

The original art was by Daniel Acuña, from a character sketch for Father Time in Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters. I took the original sketch, posted below, and tweaked things a bit to make my own signature. The quote I came up with myself as well.
