Let me get the basics out of the way.

1. I'm using a WD 250gb drive already formatted to FAT32
2. I already have the Main Folder Directories made:
MUSIC, MOVIE, PICTURE (just learned about GAMES).

With that said I have at least 30gb of music that I'd like to play but I can't seem to. This is an example of one of my MUSIC Directory:

MUSIC>
......2 Pac>
...........2pacalypse [12 tracks]
...........All Eyez On Me (Book One) [14 tracks]
...........All Eyez On Me (Book Two) [13 tracks]
...........Greatest Hits>
.......................Disc 1 [12 tracks]
.......................Disc 2 [13 tracks]

When plugged into the PS3 I see all the folders (Artist) but I can't go to the subfolders (as shown in the example). I have already tried the "Triangle" and even selected information/properties and it proceeds to tell me how many files I have in the 2 Pac folder and how big it is.

Now I have only gotten 1 song to play:
Music>
.....SWV> track: Right Here [Human Nature Remix]

This is the only song/track that is not in a subfolder.

Can I not have subfolders? Do I have to put all music into the Artist folders unorganized?

I look forward to your help.

As a side note I've already watched a movie through my PS3/Ext. HDD.

I don't think its possible to have subfolders, the way the xmb is set up, having folders within folders would make the xmb look all screwy. Anyways, I tried having subfolders for photos on the PSP, but that didn't work.
