Megatron can now wear his cannon on his back to have both arms free, and in alt mode, he can store it under his tail section for a cleaner look.

Nice idea, the alt. mode looks a lot cleaner, but IMO it's not really worth gouging slots into the cockpit to give him a free hand. Nice idea tho.

Question: since you've taken this sucker apart, is it possible to remove the cannon from the underbelly of the coptor without unscrewing it? Redundant Meaning; can I detach the cannon from the bottom of the fuselage without modding?

You will prob. need to at least take the cannon panel apart, since the U-shaped stud on the cannon fits pretty tight- I didn't want to just pull it off, but knowing now that it isn't directly screwed into anything, you might give it a good pull while rocking it side to side. Otherwise, it's very simple to do: remove the whole cannon/panel assembly, remove the 2 screws holding the panel together, and the cannon falls off. The re-assemble the panel. You can shave the inside of the U on the cannon stud so it snaps on and off.

I wish the grooves in the sides had turned out nicer, but I don't mind them. I'm afraid I can be a bit hackish that way sometimes; my dad would be spinning in his grave if we hadn't had him cremated.

Nope, his alt mode still hunkers down on all 3 wheels nicely, and even on his back in bot mode he still has good balance.
