I'm also thinking about using the variant skids head in this mannor, in order for me to take the 1/2 a red skids and merge it with painted TF parts to make a custom whole one. Might be even more custom if I was able to redo the head.

I'll gladly make you copies. Be worth it to get a copy myself.

Also, there is no need to really make those as two part molds (front/back). Injection is better for heads.
