Ok so nobody has jumped on this soooo...

I haven't read that season 3 is a go, officially that is. I've heard and read that it has but nothing from CN or Hasbro.

Should we get a season 3...I'm curious what everyone's ideas, theories etc. on what is to come would be? I mean obviously Sari is some kind of robotic, cybernetic, techno organic thing. That should be a major plot line of course. Ummm...Where is Megs and how will he return? what else...OH obviously where is OS and will he return?

Just curious what folks ideas may be.

well, from what I remember from the Botcon panel, they were looking to bring Rodimus in at some level.

That would be interesting. As long as he's not one of these "One episode Wonders" like Wreckgar or Swindle. Would be fun to see the interaction between him and BB. Would be nice to see some of the other characters like Sunstreaker, Sideswipe etc. Granted they were always my favorites growing up (probably biased as they were my first figs as well).

I'm fairly interested in seeing the story with Sari now. I think Meg's return will be fun as well. I just hope they have him do something more than skulk in a dark dank cave next season. I mean really what was the point of megs this past season? His rise was such a great dramatic couple of episodes just to lead to him hiding out and doing basically NOTHING all season!

I wouldn't mind seeing an Animated take on Unicron / Primus if only as a "wow Sari, well in our myths we have..." or something.


Especially if they are redesigned as the First Autobot and Decepticon, or hell, what with the Ark being Omega Supreme, maybe the Nemesis could be Unicron or something, and have season 3's overall ark involve it being reconstructed.


Oh, and while I think about it, more flashback episodes, particularly one for Ratchet / Supreme, I want to know what his sacrifice was.

Anyway, season 3 is green lighted by CN. And from rumors I heard, Soundwave & Shockwave gonna play major role for the rise of the Decepticons.

They said that they have big plans for Soundwave. I hope it includes Laserbeak. Oil Slick is said to appear in season 3 as well. Shockwave is bound to get more attention. And I presume Wasp will be back as well.

I'd like Shockwave to take over as temp. leader like in the comics...I could see Sideswipe and Sunstreaker as one ep wonders...I'd REALLY like the insecticons, you know they'd do Shrapnel properly-ly-ly-ly...

I've read that Soundwave will be a major player and Laserbeak's coming. I would assume Shockwave will be outted, Omega Supreme still had the Allspark chamber in his body when he when poof, Sari's details on what she is, Anger at Sumdac, Blurr, TCracker and Skywarp need to be found and so on and so on......

*Cheers* I, for one, would love that. Though I'm only 25 episodes into watching G1, the 'Waves are two of my favorite characters, and though I'm not particularly fond of how "Sound and Fury" handled Soundwave, Shockwave was fantastic in both "Autoboot Camp" and the finale.


Animated!Insecticons would be such utter and complete win <3

Sentinel brings Kup with the the EG...those two go at in...Optimus and Sentinel look at each other, ask if that is how they want to get old and use that to patch things up....

A/E/C kida killed Unicron for the foreseeable future. Even if they do make it work, there's still to many bad memories.

I want their to be a season 3 but I want it to be building to something big like epic big but not unicorn maybe quints? but evil like in G1 not the energon thing Alpha Q

Jumps on no way to Unicron/Primus in Animated bandwagon for all of the before mentioned reasons.

Not sure how Sari's "I'm a robot now well what do you know about that" storyline will play out but I'm sure it'll be interesting.

More characters would be cool but personally I want to see the writers concentrate on the ones already introduced. Too many have been one shots and really need to be explored further. Wants to see the Constructicons, Swindle, assorted Seekers, Black Arachnia, and Lockdown become more involved alongside Blitzwing, and Lugnut. It's a great Decepticon army and with Megatron/Starscream lost in space Shockwave would be great as leader.

Glad to hear Soundwave will be more involved once season three gets rolling.

I have a feeling sari and Issac probably during season 3 try to get back the company from powell even if Issac is back may end up probably huge fight or something and powell gets arrested

Hmm, I had an idea for bringing in Rodimus. What if the Elite Guard decides that Earth is of to much strategic importants to leave a washout like Optimus Prime in charge of it's 'defense', so they send in their newest Academy graduate -the best of the best, close to tops in his class, and would have been if he wasn't a bit of a hothead and a rebel- to take command of the Earth based Autobots. At first he'd be a lot like Sentinel and would have much resentment from the other Autobots having usurped Optimus' position, but would slowly grow to the Rodimus we see in the IDW comics. A a natural leader and a very good commander who earns the grudging respect of Optimus and his crew.....

Errr, I had more but I can't remember it right now. Had something to do with discovering the Matrix.

I like the idea, but you can't take

He's the leader, if you did take away his leadership role, you might as well kill him off, and we all know how well that would turn out.

I don't personally, I wasn't there for G1, but...

We need Optimus to grow into his role as a commander before we usurp it to watch someone else grow into the role of commander.

The best way to handle that introduction, is have Rodimus come in, try to butt in on Optimus's role, then after a few episodes, have Rodimus kind of notice how Optimus handles the team, and decide to take up as a second in command /adviser , being responsible for going between Optimus's team, and the Elite Guard.

I would like to see some more guys like Rodimus Prime, Wheeljack, Hound, and the other Dinobots show up, along with the return of Blurr, Omega Supreme, and Wreck Gar; and think it would be a cool twist if some bot by the name of Galvatron showed up to lead the Decepticons in the absence of Megatron. Then come the finale or season 4 we have Megatron vs Galvatron, with the Autobots basically playing cleanup to their battle as Supreme Commander of the Decepticons. Throw Cyclonus in and I'll just all over the place.

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker might be interesting, make the opposite personallities with Streaker aloof and swipe friendly and a joker but when it comes to battle have Siders disregard the wellbeing of those around him but Sunstreaker doing his best to keep everyone safe and bringing his brother back to his senses; at the end the Earthbound Autobots realise that is why they search the cosmos for decepticons together, as on they're own they would not last too long.

kind of a moral story but if characterised and written right would make a very good story

I actually have thought of ideas to extend animated for many more seasons by introducing a lot of new characters and by new I mean reinterpreted characters from across the franchise including adding to the human side of things the Neo-Knights from the G1 marvel comics and introducing animated versions of the various Masters(head,power,and weapon varieties) the pretenders the combiners the various sub-factions(maximal,predacon,vehicon,decepticlone,omnicon,terrorcon,minicon,junkion
,blendtron,mutant) and alien races(nebulons,quintessons,various reapers member races,planet beast inhabitants,vok) and ultimately unicron and primus and their servants(dead universe inhabitants/the thirteen original TFs) as well as a lot of new autobots and decepticons and maybe even an original character or two=)=)
p.s. no flames just polite opinions though otherwise speak your mind and I might reveal more info on my ideas though I purposefully stayed away from sari considering who knows what could be revealed during season 3 in that regard

BTW I'm just fan wanking everybody does and see the next post for what else I have to say

the ideas in my above post are just random ideas from all over the place that season three and seasons afterward could introduce since if they wanted to they could introduce practically anybody and anything if they wanted to

I hold out hope that they can cure Blackarachnia -- she'd be a pretty awesome autobot!

But I'm sure I won't get my wish, so I can settle for another Blackarachnia episode.
