Did I just completely miss this thing altogether? Was it another random store exclusive, where the store got one and sold it immediately? Was it a Best Buy figure, it has the right packaging, but then again DVD Prime and WalMart Starscream have roughly the same style of packaging as well. I'm just a bit of a sucker for boxes sometimes, and this seems like one of them, even though I don't particularly care for the battle damage itself.

Battle Damage Prime on eBay

Thanks for any info, I really don't want to have to try and pay eBay (or BBTS for that matter) prices to get something I'm honestly not completely into, but I still feel like i need to grab it.

Apparently, it's an "International exclusive", meaning that the USA don't get it (and likely limited in the rest of the world).

From the TF wiki
QUOTE
A single-packed version of the battle damaged Voyager Optimus Prime toy from the Sam's Club exclusive three-pack. Although the assortment number and the general packaging style seemed to indicate that this might be a Best Buy exclusive, this has been confirmed to be an "international market" exclusive. It has been released in Asia, but will presumably not be available in the USA outside the Sam's Club three-pack.

Looks totaly worth it IMO so knowing how rare TF's are in Dutch stores (esp. the exlusive ones), I bought mine on e-bay and am eagerly awaiting its arrival

Who else is in the 3 pack if you buy it in the USA? How much does that set cost?

Concept Camaro BB and Arcee, IIRC. I can't remember the price.
Hunter Rose
not a bad set - I'd say its worth the buy - if that exclusive packaging doesn't matter to you...
are Arcee and BB also battle scarred?
ReverendNash
Not really interested in the 3-pack, honestly, the only reason I'm looking at this one is for the box. Now that I know it wasn't a US release, I may be able to convince myself that I no longer need it...but I do like those boxes. Who am I kidding, I'll probably wind up grabbing one.

I'm fairly sure that all 3 in the Sams club pack were battle damaged. I think the same goes for the Prime/Starscream/Arcee 3-pack as well. Or was that the Prime/Bumblebee 2-pack? I don't know anymore.

I think only Arcee and Prime had the battle-damage in that three-pack.
Detective Barricade
Didn't the set include a battle damaged Voyager Prime, battle damaged Arcee, and Starscream (not sure if he was battle damaged)? The only battle damaged Concept Camaro 'Bee I remember was the "Evolution of a Hero" 2 pack (the other one in that set was Classic Camaro 'Bee)...
Rawhide
^ Yeah, the three pack was a Sam's exclusive and consisted of a battle damaged voyager Prime, a battle damaged Arcee and a plain old Starscream. No Bumblebee in sight. Don't know what it costs, but what I’ve seen on e-bay the price seems to be around $ 60 to more.

I really like voyager Prime. He may not be very movie accurate (wrong truck, wrong transformation and some differences as well in robotmode), but his twin blaster, good poseability and lithe body shape really make him a good looking figure. Of the movie figures I have I also feel he has the best Automorph (was actually disappointed with the leader Prime's automorph afterwards).

I just think that Hasbro wasted this mold. We've had several releases by now:

1) regular version: red/gray/blue
2) Robo vision which is metallic paints and a little big more gray, but else: red/gray/blue
3) First Strike/G1 colors version: red/gray/blue
4) Battle damage version with smoke and scratch paint appl, but otherwise: red/gray/blue.

So, we basically have four figures (released in multiple ways) and they're all red/gray/blue in pretty much the same lay-out. Extremely boring. At least with the leader the made a completely different version with the Nightwatch. Even the FAB had a completely different one in Rodimus colors.

I'm almost begging for a Nemesis or a Magnus repaint. Surely something more interesting could be done with this figure?! I'm going to paint one with a gold cab and purple in robot mode and call it Huffer.

i wonder if this is any different then the 3 pack? it has bd op, bd arcee, and reg ss in it. i traded a walscream for it. wish i didn't. no one wants to buy the 3 pack and i wouldn't get my money back if i broke them up. worst purchase ever.

Maybe someday they'll color him right. Or not.

I have wanted one of these for awhile and I even bid on a couple of them but lost. Then lo and behold I found one in my nephews toy chest when I was over at my brothers house. The absolutely amazing thing is that it is still even complete. In every other case when I buy or give him a TF, it ends up missing feet and and all the accessories. Somehow this Prime is still complete and in great shape.

I explained to my nephew that I was looking for it for awhile and I asked him if he wanted to trade and he agreed. Now don't think I am taking advantage of him, I think he is getting the better end of the deal b/c he gets 2-3 new figures that he really wants (of course I get what I want too, but that make it a fair deal).
WraithVerge
Nah, that's a fair trade; you both get what you want.
