Just finished reading it. Turns out it's great and above my expectations, many characters from previous issues are returning. And I can sense something UGLY is gonna happen on the forthcoming Spotlight: Hardhead.
WarMegatron
who were the other bots with galvatron and Nemesis Prime and Cyclonus? Deathsaurus?
Ryu Hayabusa
everything is really starting to build up in the trans universe. its interesting how if you leave the dead verse you only have a limited amount of time in regular universe. its almost like galvatron, cyclonus, nemisis (nova) prime are dead themself. and the return of thunderwing....SWEET

It was Straxus (U.K. g1 comics) & Jihaxus (g2 comics) not sure who the guy on the far left was though?
Goktimus Prime
Straxus wasn't exclusive to the UK comics - he actually originated in the US comics, but he lasted longer in the UK comics with the whole Megatron-clone, head-in-a-bubble etc etc. icon_wink.gif

Straxus in the US comics

Zordon Straxus in the UK comics

Straxus in the IDW comics

The TF Wiki lists him as "Grindcore." So it seems he's a bot that was made up to flesh out Nemesis/Nova's Dead Universe crew.

Straxus in the IDW comics

I don't consider that guard Straxus. If it were him it would royally f with IDW's continuity. I consider the guard in that pic to be of the same model as Straxus, but not Straxus himself (sort of like how the Seekers share models).

It's been confirmed that the guy behind Galvy is Straxus, not Leozaks.

revalations #3 doubledealer: SHF even more in this one, nemesis meet prime and blast him with the dead matrix( you also come to find out why nemesis is doing what hes doing) the scenes with DD and hotrod are sweet.when HR blast DD and he falls to his destruction, i got the feeling that hes going to get his third mode when he is rebuilt. and the return of bludgeon HELL YEA!

they wont be ending the spotlight series. this particular spotlights are leading into the last "tions" issues coming out i think at the end of the yr leading into next yr. which should also be after AHM (all hail megatron) issue #2 on sale now.

Ooooooooooo, sadly the only TF comic I'm close to up to date on is Spotlight, I have the first two TPB issues, along with Arcee. Any chance the Revelation and Devestation comics are in TPB? Those are the only two in the "tion" series right?

the fist series was : Infiltration, Escalation, Devastaton, Revalation is going to be the last. then you have all of the spotlights in between: shockwave, sixshot, hot rod, nightbeat, soundwave, optimus prime, galvatron, ramjet, kup, mirage, grimlock, blaster, arcee, cyclonus, hardhead, doubledealer, sidwswipe and theres also the stormbringer series which is very sweet!

Just like what I'd expected.. icon_sad.gif

Seriously, this Revelation-series looks really rushed. Nemesis Prime's arrival on Garrus-9, Straxus & Grindcore on Earth, and few others, are like, without buildup. But oh well, I'd expect Thunderwing vs Bludgeon if Jetfire finally managed to control Thunderwing. Looking forward to Spotlight: Sideswipe.

I quite enjoyed that, I was on tenterhooks worrying about Hotrod until the climax.

see what im hoping happends is that after the initial blowout thunderwing and bludgeon awarness is reinstated and they rejoin the decepticon army,( maybe returning to their previous plan to introduce the pretender shell tech) cause the autobots are imploring it now to try and inter the dead universe...which is sweet!

I'm not surprised that it's rushed either, but then Furman thought he was going to be able to keep writing more in the canceled Expansion. Looking back though, the IDW universe seems kinda awkward, with a 7 issue slow paced introduction and a 4 issue rushed conclusion to everything. I think Infiltration could've been WAY more compacted to leave more room for Revalation.
