I know I might be being a little nitpicky, but hey. As I get more Animated.png toys. I'll give these for them, but until then, I Wanna see what you think. Give feedback/your own one of these things.

***EDIT'D***

On my way back from my Aunt's house (AKA vacation), I went to KB toys and picked up Lockdown. He's pretty good.

Lockdown
I'll do anything if the price is right.

man, now I'm jealous. the Decepticon symbol is an easy fix, and the back kibble is kinda cool, and show accurate. the mouth however, suxxorz.

Yeah, but since I never liked the 'light-n-sounds' feature on Leader Class toys, so I never pressed his chest symbol that would initiate his mouth gapping like a creepy doll. As soon as I removed him out from box & twist ties, I also removed the battery. Well, then, the mouth is not really a big problem over there, lad.

Blitzwing
I'M VOYAGER CLASZ, FLEZHLING!!

THE GOOD
* Movie-styled Decepticon logo? COOL!! icon_wink.gif
* Show Accurate
* Good Articulations
* Extremely poseable, except for his shoulder & hands
* Easy to transform despite being a triple changer ItRocks.gif
* He's fun to play with, never get bored to transform him back n forth.
* Tank mode beats Jet mode at any levels. ItRocks.gif ZYOU HEAR ZDAT?! OR I SHALL BEAT YOU INTO SCRAL METAL!!
* ... Oh look, I already have scrap metal!! Hahahah!! <-- THREE FACEZ OF awesomeji1.gif-NESS!!
* Well, dammit, he's a TRIPLE CHANGER, if that reason's not cool enuff for ya to get him, I dunno what else.. awesomeji1.gif

THE BAD
* The wings are behind the shoulders, so everytime I wanna pose his hands upward, the wing always follows up.
* The rear wings & cannons/jet engine kibble on jet mode could have been done better rather than let it loose like this without some pegs to hold 'em steady. Shrug.gif

THE UGLY
* The helmet is kinda......... soft.
* The face details could have been done better for Ahnuld & Colonel Klink faces.
* Maybe it's just mine, but looooooooooooooose hands.
Soundwinder
What bothers me about Blitz is the fact he's completely unarmed in robot mode, unless he bends over at his enemies.

(snip)

In ref to Bumblebee, well, isn't that where one would want to get screwed? tounge1.gif (btw, bit of a stupid tech support-esqe question (...Is it plugged in?) Are y'sure Bumblebee isn't mis-transformed/assembled? I don't have the figure, since I'm holding out for the Wal-Mart 3-pack, but I don't recall seeing any screws in any photos.)

Kiddin' kiddin.

As for Prowl, what pistol gimmick? Did yours come with an extra accessory or something?

Neither do I. I'd rather have a poseable/show-accurate toy than one that talks/moves on its own.

Movie styled? how so? And I would agree with you, the jet mode is kinda squat. As for the last thing, YES, that is the only reason I'm getting blitzwing besides the head thing. the heads, however, are a bit small. Caine, do you have prowl? can you tell me if his head is bigger than bliz's icy head?

I''ma try to fix the wing-attached-to-arms thing. Dunno how, but i will! thumbsup1.gif as for the helmet, I'd try to stiffen that up with nail polish or something....

Not really a "pistol" but the sirens flip out to become "Lazer pistols" it says on the back of the box.

Oh, huh. Learn something new. I didn't really pay much attention to Prowl's packaging. I thought you were talking about how his hands can only hold his traffic light and throwing stars. I do hope for the redeco, this hands fix Hasbro spoke about will swipe G.I. Joe's Kung-Fu grip to give him more stuff around the house to use as weapons. optimuslaugh2.gif

Btw, like the quick pro's n' con's review style. Good way to get a quick idea of the toy.

See the Cons' eyes? And compare to this one. See? The same sleek n sharp looking eyes, right?

Now, compare with that of Leader Megatron's chest logo..
And compare to this one. Bigger eyes and more G1 looking, right?

There's the differences for ya. icon_wink.gif

Ah, now I see. It is pretty cool now that you mention it. And why you only gettin the 'Cons? they need someone to fight.. Or are they just gunna beat on Wasp/inator?
Nakashima Taiki
A little off topic (but it's mine so I can mwahaha.gif) but i saw a Null-ray gun fix for screamer, can someone find it/give me some advice on how to do so myself?
Detective Barricade
Starscream (my version)

The Prime (the good):

- extremely accurate to the show in both modes
- excellent articulation
- 'Bullet Bill' style missiles are awesomeji1.gif
- super easy to transform
- it's STARSCREAM. Need I say more? tounge1.gif

The Megs (the bad):
- huge chin
- color is different to show color (but not quite Thundercracker blue)

The 'Screamer (the ugly/treacherous):
- parts have been known to pop off (mostly his legs or fingers)

Lockdown

The Prime:
- very accurate to the show in both modes
- very good articulation
- simple transformation (not as easy as Starscream though)
- taller than any other Deluxe so far (I think)
- very stable if there are no joint issues
- can 'give back' EMP device to Animated Ratchet

The Megs:
- is not 100% accurate
- legs will pop off if you follow the instructions provided (not like they're really needed)

The 'Screamer:
- the hands, if left unmodified, are very odd and likely to break (if you don't realize that the hands only come out part way before)

Please note that these ar my opinions on these two Animated figures.

And I thought that the hand fix was for Lockdown?

Just Picked up
GRIMLOCK

The Good

* Really sweet figure in both modes

* Super G1 Accurate - in a way that I wish this had been Classics Grim.

* Overall - I am really happy with this guy!

The Bad

* Legs are a little weak

* Robot is Top/Back heavy (seems to be a running theme with these guys)

* Gaping hole in Dino chest (really not that bad in person - no different than seeing robo parts on the bottom of a carformer)

but... really not much...

The Ugly

* Oh he's ugly all right - in all the right ways.

* Robot arms are a little odd - there is a fix posted for them - but they are not so bad that i think i need to saw stuff up.

* Swordy doesn't go anywhere in Dino mode. It would be nice if it slid into the gaping hole in the dino.. but no luck there.
The box claims that it fits into his snappy jaw to make fire breath -but i havent been able to get it in there .... maybe i am doing it wrong.

Detective Barricade
Don't bother. It looks silly as it can't fit in all the way (from what I gather). And I have that list of fixes Bookmarked, though I'm thinking of drilling through the excess bits in the arms proper instead of his hands. I'll try with the right first as it's usually covered by his hook attachment (which is awesome).

Sorry to disappoint...biggrintf.gif There ought to be fixes for some of the figures (Animated or otherwise) on YouTube (or other sites like it).

Voyager Bulkhead

The Good:
-Like a lot of the figures, pretty decently show accurate
-Transformation is pretty easy
-Articulation is decent

The Bad:
-His mace makes his hands look uneven due to the fact that it prevents his fingers from closing the way his right hand does

The Ugly:
He's too small!
He's smaller than Bumblebee (this is not counting his humungous backpack, but from head to toe), and so far of the Deluxes, Bumblebee, even though he seems big, is truly smallest of the ones available so far (and I have all the deluxes from Waves 1 and 2).

BTW, I'm jealous of anybody who has Voyager Prime/Grimlock/Lugnut. I went to Target cause I was in the area. Knowing I've seen some Animated figures out before, and I had been on the computer and Target said the one I was going to (which is the closest one to me) had them in stock. So I asked and they said they can't cause they haven't been given an okay as for the release date.

All I thought was what BS. I want my Voyager Prime damnit. Then Leader Bulkhead and I'll have the Autobots I need. Lugnut and Grimlock can wait. There's always next month. I've been out there three times this week to work on my service dog's work, and I've seen the same figures and stuff from the movie all three times. Clearly the merch isn't moving, so put out the new stuff. It will move.
Hadlen Weltall
Me Hadlen find Grimlock, and he still taller than puny Deluxe class Prime. Thats why Spiderlady like Grimlock best! LOL. had to say it.

Seriously, great figure, G1 scheme, but Animated Aesthetic. Arms are a bit tough to transform but they glide easily.
Nakashima Taiki
Ah. Grimlock is teh coolerest. And BTW do you watch RvB?
JustLOKIPLVY
Feels left out rumblecry.gif No restocked TFA figs as of yet.

Bumblebee

The Good
-Fantastic alt/bot mode
-Mostly show accurate in both modes
-Great articulation
-Tight joints/poseability
-Great use of light piping

The Bad
-striping is a bit smudged
-Painted plastic looks separate from the rest of the mold
-The windscreen piece that blocks waist articulation

The Ugly
-The stingers are poorly incorporated and look dumb swung out as weapons.
-The shoulders are blocked by chest kibble

Lockdown

The Good
-Fantastic alt/bot mode
-Mostly show accurate in both modes
-Great articulation
-Tight joints/poseability
-Great use of light piping
-Stands really tally for a deluxe and is hella intimidating looking.

The bad
-Legs don't look natural if knees are bent
-Arms are poorly articulated
-Hands don't swing out and are oddly curved inwards. The theory is he's supposed to have a quick draw pose. Without a sidearm, or hip blaster to draw it just looks dumb.
-The arm hook rather than being a separate piece is part of a whole subassembly with the emp gun mounted on top. It works for what it is but could have been better.

The Ugly
-Some smeared black paint beneath one of the side of the silver painted mufflers.

Most of the issues I've come to notice really haven't detracted my fondness for either mold. Though not perfect both are plenty good enough and eye catching display pieces in any collection.

LUGNUT

the good:
awesome articulation
looks great
cool head
show accurate
cool plane

the bad:
Short!!!!

the ugly:
the mace
( . Y . )
Hey, I like the mace...
Hunter Rose
I think all it needs is a touch up with some paint.
Detective Barricade
What Lugnut REALLY needs is a Leader class figure. Brawl got a Leader class, Bulkhead is getting a Leader class, why can't Lugnut? As for his mace, he used it in "Garbage In, Garbage Out" so I'm OK with it. I'd also like for them to include his punch gimmick (the dreaded little red button).

I am Soundwave Kerry King. I am Decepticon. The Ozzfest begins now.

The Good
* Pretty cool transformation.
* Show accurate.
* Laserbeak awesomeji1.gif
* G1 styled "tape deck"-ish car bumper.. icon_wink.gif

The Bad
* Hey, shorty! skeletor.png
* Legs are kinda loose, but not thaaaat loose. icon_wink.gif

The Ugly
* When Laserbeak's perch on his hand, it's kinda heavy. sweatbead.gif
* On guitar mode, Laserbeak's length beats that of his master.

Doesn't everyone hope he does.

Voyager Optimus Prime

The Prime (the good):
- Very show accurate
- Has the fire engine "trailer" (becomes the axe)
- Very G1-esque transformation
- Faceplate can slide up or down
- good light piping

The Megs (the bad):
- Automorph takes a bit of practice to get it to work
- Most joints are hinged instead of ratchet
- Automorph could potentially jam

The 'Screamer (the ugly/treacherous):
- Faceplate doesn't hide and looks weird when not up
- The axe, while better in person, is still a bit weak
Smooth Jazz
Jazz (my boy):

The Good:

-Nice color scheme. Very G1 without being too much so.
-Same ninja posability as Prowl, but more stable.
-Very show accurate in both modes (right down to the "man in suit" look and rank insignia pointing to his crotch eek1.gif ).
-Nunchaku. 'Nuff said.

The bad:

-Hands are limited in their motion. Wouldn't be as much of a problem if it didn't detract from what you can do with his nunchaku.
-A bit hard to get him back into car mode because you have to slip the back of his legs under his windshield and it's a delicate operation.

The ugly:
-His legs are kinda huge. Much more so than in the show (I think). His feet sort of float out there on a hinge too instead of being connected solidly.
-If you store his nunchaku in their holsters in robot mode, they stick way out the back of his arms, though you can move them around elsewhere if you prefer.

Nice reviews/feedback y'all! keep it coming!
Detective Barricade
Here's a couple:

Bulkhead (Leader):

The Prime:
- Robot mode is in scale to the show
- The most electronic sounds out of any of the Animated Leaders
- The only Animated Leader to change lights and phrase when the Headmaster unit is attached (lights turn red and says, "OWNAGE!!! TOTAL OWNAGE!!!")
- The only current Bulkhead figure able to do a "chair mode"

The Megs:
- A bit big in vehicle
- Weapons aren't show accurate
- The waist needs a lot of force to detach from peg ("Am I going to break this?" feeling)

The 'Screamer:
- Doesn't follow the transformation on the show

Megatron (Leader)

The Prime:
- Both modes are show accurate
- Unique rotor gimmick (spin-linked blades - spin one blade, the other spins with it)
- Follows the transformation on the show almost exactly
- Three excellent phrases ("Where is the Allspark?!", "Crush the Autobots!", *evil laughter*)

The Megs:
- Is quite simple to transform for a Leader
- Shoulders don't lock in

The 'Screamer:
- Extra landing gear is useless

Thread, rise from the grave! mwahaha.gif I got them one at a time, but got 'Sunny and Prowl with 'Bulky, and Movie Camshaft with Megs! rodimusgrinstatic.gif Now for two more!

Bumblebee:

The Prime:
- Is absolutely ADORABLE in both modes!
- Excellent light piping
- Quite articulate

The Megs:
- The feet, while not as bad as people make them out to be, are big
- The stripe doesn't run continuously in either mode (small spot near the back with no stripe, robot doesn't have stripe going down waist and leg)

The 'Screamer:
- The stingers don't fold in all the way despite being meant to. H khaaan.gif khaaan.gif SSBR khaaan.gif khaaan.gif khaaan.gif !!!! whew, excuse me! jetstorm.gif
- The screw in his waist is in an... unfortunate place...

Jazz:

The Prime:
- awesomeji1.gif in ways only a ninja can be!
- Show accurate
- ANP (Awesome Ninja Poses)
- Solid car mode
-Exhaust pipes become num-chukkas!

The Megs:
- can be tricky to convert, not because of difficulty, but because of tightness

The 'Screamer:
- Uhhhhhh... Can't think of any...
Detective Barricade
Bumpity bump-bump bumpity bump-bump... post-25-1112367535.gif

Time to drag this back up to the surface...

Oil Slick:

The Prime:
- Sweet "chopper" mode
- sturdy joints
- can "ninja kick" better than Jazz!
- chain weapon is awesomeji1.gif

The Megs:
- The torso looks a little odd
- "attack mode" is ghey.png

The 'Screamer:
- Handlebars, fingers, and ram horns are made of a very soft plastic/rubber
Detective Barricade

Prowl:

The Prime:
- Super articulate
- Shuriken hide well
- Easy to balance
- is mostly symmetrical in robot mode

The Megs:
- lacks heel supports
- hands are stationary, making it a little difficult to hold the shuriken

The 'Screamer:
- Traffic light weapon is ghey.png and sarcasticpelicanlb2.gif
- the shuriken are hard to detach for use on mine
