I couldn't have an Animated Bumblebee without a Cliffjumper! So I thought I'd show you guys what the result is. I gave him a regular car alt-mode. I wanted it to be different than Bumblebee's.- Repainted everything- Re-sculpted the head- Removed the siren- Fixed his stingersI also included a screen cap from the cartoon for comparison.Thanks for looking and comments are welcomed!

Nice job greyfox. I seen Cliffjumper in "Autoboot camp" so they probably will make one. But all the same, yours is great. Love the frown compared to the smile. And the gun is a bit "universe/classics, but works cuz its cliffjumper.

Sweet job you know we'll be seeing an official one, and probably one of Wasp too since it looks like he'll be heading for earth to get back at Bumblebee soon, and appears to have the same transformation.

In the show Bumblebee says they were "created from the same protoform mold". wonder what Wasp'll transform into though.

Hey Naka, he turns into the EXACT same thing as Bumblebee on Cybertron. A dune buggy of sorts. "There will be repaints i see in the forseeable future"

But when he gets to Earth, will he keep his Cybertronian mode, or scan an Earth vehicle? And if he scans an Earth vehicle, will he scan one that looks just like Fanzone's car?

like I said, you could remove the fron car panels and mod him slightly to make him a dune buggy.


Not sure why, but the word "Cliff" and "jumper" get me thinking of Dune Buggiess.

Naka: Am I correct in assuming that this guy was before your time? Somehow I don't see this "Wasp" character taking an Earth vehicle mode any time soon.

He'll probably be the same as Bumblebee, but green and with a new head mold. Hopefully, if Wasp does make future appearances, he won't end up as his predecessor, the universe's cannon fodder!

That's a nice headmod. Perfect blend of Cliffy and 'Animated.'

If Wasp keeps his Cybertronian mode, it'd be easy to repaint it yellow and give it Bumblebee's head and market it as Cybertron Mode Bumblebee. They could potentially do the same with Ironhide repainted into Ratchet's Cybertron Mode. That would leave just Bulkhead, Prowl, Starscream, Lugnut, and Blitzwing as the only originals needed to be done.

I have a feeling that's what they're going to do for season 3. By that point the Earth-mode figures will have been on sale for quite a few months and Hasbro will probably be looking for a way to change things up without changing the cast around. All they have to do is send them back to Cybertron and presto! new toys for all.

Well, except for Prime and Megatron, who'll probably get some sort of plot-device upgrade into new bodies.

Here's hoping that Hasbro will follow suit. I'm gonna be spittin' chips if Animated Cliffjumper comes out w/o a new head. (-_-)
