Thanks for the recommendations. I have to say, I love it and it worked out well. This head totally suits this mold!

Again, thanks for the help!

QUOTE
first off, I'm not going all crazy with this guy. Not much in the way of new paint, pretty much just a new head. I like the mold, the cannons suite megs and black is always in for the bad guy. So, as the topic description states: suggestions for a new head would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Unfortunately, I'd say the Decepticharge or a retooling of the Gen-2 Megs..Would a classics meg be too small? Probably.

Decepticharge is a good idea but I'd like to avoid another head copy in the line. Still might be an option but only if I can snag one from somebody. I'd hate to pay out the arse for just a head...

Classics Megs (Gun) is a definate option. His and the Ravage's heads are the same size and it does seem to suit the mold well....

G2, I have the purple tank and the heads a bit small. I was wondering about the green version but I can't remember how big that mold is. I'd need someone who has him to give me dimensions.

In my opinion, go for Classic Megs' head. If you have a second one laying around(assuming you like the mold enough to not want to salvage your masin one), use that, and voilla. Instant Alternator Megatron. smiletf.gif

^ Yup, I'm going that direction. I just bought Henkei Megs a few days ago. I'll wait until he gets here and then I'll make the mods to the Classics head. This also opens up Classics Megs body to be Galvatron. Now I gotta find a head for that. biggrintf.gif

Thanks for the help guys!

pics added to first post.

Note: The head retains complete posability as I kept and used the balljoint on Ravages body. This meant clearing out the innerds of Megs head and gluing it.

Now I need to find a suitable head to tunr my old Classics Megs into Galvy. Fun stuff.
