What a worthless piece of shot!

With that said, this was a pity purchase. It's payday, I've got retail therapy on the mind and I couldn't find

Voyager Prime. So I buy this instead thinking; 'eh, I could use a paint project. I can just take him apart and repaint the allspark blue a propper black....' Dude, he falls apart on his own.... First the feet, then I put them back on and start transforming another part and they fall off again. I put them back on again, start working with the legs and the leg comes off and the foot. I have SWTF's that are built better than than this! They used those stupid pressure connecters for his Thigh and foot joints. This POS is going back to the store tomorrow.

thanks for the warning, dood. I've contemplated buying him, even though the blue is fugly, but if he's that frugged up...then idk.

Just my two cents, but I have yet to have a problem with anything falling off of him.
And for someone who is not a huge fan of the movie aesthetic, this is actually one of the few toys that I genuinely really like from the movie line....
Maybe you got a bad one

Agreed. Get yourself one of the new Dr. Octopus figs, and use the claws for Incinerator and he kicks ass. Two great modes, love that guy.

I agree with HHR and siburke. He's a great fig, and you must have just purchased a bad one. The only problem I had was a little looseness in one of the parts that forms his leg, fixed it right up with some superglue.
Other than that, I've had no issues with him. He's currently hanging out (quite literally mind you) with Blackout, Starscream and other flying Decepticon/Predacon figures.

That thing is the shelfwarmer of the movie line here.

Here too, and probably just because the character wasn't in the movie. Which is a shame since I think it's one of the better movie molds.
I also think it's cool how the spinning blades gimmick works in both modes even though it seems like it wouldn't

Three of them have been warming shelves here for the past two months.
I'm hoping I can grab one on clearance.

I thought Incinerator had some minor problems but not this much. It could be worse, just think back to voyager Megatron. That would be some thing I would incinerate. You must have just gotten a "bad" one.

it's a damn shame the Takaratomy version is so much more expensive...with the somewhat better colorscheme. (although the "allspark blue" is still the fugliest color ever.)

I actually like Incinerator, the alt mode is totally solid.
He's one of the few plane transformers that has almost zero robot mode kibble hanging off of it or big gaps in the bodywork...

Heh, that reminds me - realy my only compaint about Incinerator is that those prop blades aren't articulated to be able to form a semblance of a hand (with giant "I like to pinch" claws/fingers)...

He could have gigantic built-in

I wonder how hard that would be to customize...

I took him back and spent my money on the Legendary Comic Book Heroes Pitt wave. Well worth the exchange IMO.
If and when they start to clearance the movie line I may go pick up another. I have a few other caveats with the mold such as his lack of hands and the fact that he's wearing a plane on his back. I have some mods in mind to fix this but it just angers me when a toy falls apart on me straight out of the box. It may very well be that I don't end up getting him again and along with Blackout he would be the unfinished business of this line for me.

Yeah, I passed on Incinerator.
Alt-mode looked great, robot mode looked less than crap.
I like the head, but the colors, arms, and especially the back kibble completely turned me off him. After the debacle that was Blackout, I wasn't going to blow my hard-earned money on another helicopter-former with nothing to do with his hands and his entire alt-mode hanging off his back. At least with Blackout you can remove the tailboom.
The final nail in the coffin for me was seeing pictures of Incinerator with custom hands. His arms are just so poorly proportioned that they actually look worse without the props. And that's impressive, as one of my biggest TF pet peeves is TFs without hands (followed by TFs with hands but nothing to do with them... why, hello Blackout/every movie Decepticon).

Incinerator really is one of those "it could've been so wonderful" TF's.
Cool to awesome altmode, useful gimmick and an almost succesful robot mode. Don't mind the absence of hands so much, but this is just too much and in a way very lazy. Think it would've been better if they gone the route of BM Obsidian, just not with the cut-off hand look that figure had.

Yeah, Incinerator, Offroad Ironhide, and Evac are the three big shelfwarmers from my experience (even more so than Swindle and Payload). From what I've heard, Offroad Ironhide, whom I have, is much better quality than the original release (not sure about Premium). As for the topic of this thread, Incinerator, I just can't stop fiddling with this guy!

The Allspark blue works great with him, and I'm not a huge fan of that color! He's not a tail-dragger like some Heli-formers (he doesn't need it to balance) and despite seven (7) points of articulation in
each arm, his prop-rotor spin gimmick will still work! Overall, he is a great figure! Don't let one bad lemon spoil this guy for you!

meh...his alt mode is awesome. his robot mode is awesome...but the ALLSPARK BLUE!!!! ARGHHH
I'm no good at repainting...and I wouldn't mind if there were traces on him, like camshaft, but GOD there's just so MUCH of it! I mean, there are WHOLE PARTS that are MOLDED in that fugly-ass color!!! I'm not sure he's worth it...

he's the only non movie figure I thought of getting. NO hands on starscream(wich I did get) was enough for me.

he just came back to the walmart shelves, and I'm waiting to see if he goes on x-mass clearance for $10. if that is the case then I'd grab him.
Are there any cool minor mods for this guy or hidden secrets like the ones for swindle, barricade and starscream?
