Ouch, and the flaw of the new system rears it's ugly head. But atleast now Hot Rod is a kitbashing genius.

Sami, are you gonna paint the head grey/silver or purple? Just curious as i think he looks good with a grey head. Anyways, good painting as always. Maybe i will have you do me a Classics Prime the RIGHT colors. Have you done one those before?

Completely agreed. Thats the only thing about this new system I HATE. I mean hell, I want proper credit on my future WIPs . I hope they fix this one and only horrible flaw in the system.

I'm not sure what color I'll be painting his head yet, I have to see what the final head he sends me will be. But, he should be done this weekend, thanks for the comments.

Hey Sami, just dropping by and letting you know I have an Astrotrain too, Hope this gives you a better idea for the head you will be working on. Just that my updated picture at home I have the decepticon logos on, thats the only difference. Enjoy

What head is that?

It's Sunstreaker's Head, just cut off the sides of the head and sand it down and gave it a repaint. I think it looks pretty awesome and really close to the cartoon version.

I've got an unused Battle Ravage Alt that has been retired to the back of the shelf since the Ravage Jag showed up and took his place... now I know what I want to do with him!

Although it's a pity that his G1 name was always so train-centric. Have you thought about dubbing him something slightly different?

Could always refer to him as Roadtrain? Not a truck I know but more suitable than astro anyway

I remeber somebody made an Alt Astrotrain and called him "Astrotrack", which I thought worked quite well.
It's a pity there's not a Pontiac Alternator to use as a base - we could have "AstroTran"! (Ouch, bad pun!)

wow! I've been away for a while and only now I see how AWESOME its coming out!

The head used is Ricochet remolded.

I simply loved it Sami. Its name continues to be Astrotrain.
