megetron the boufhead
if they ever made a tfanimated video game what would you think it would be like
Darth Caine
Much like GTA-esque?

With the sole exception of Beast Wars Metals on Gameboy Colour - we desperately need a TF game with multiplayability!

Do they assume that Transfans have no friends?! Well, it may be true for some, I dunno - but some of us actually have other people who'd we'd like to play with!!

The Prelude to Energon game was really nice, and I enjoyed the movie game enough - but they would've been enhanced a lot more if there was some multiplayer option for them. We live in an age where it's not uncommon for people to have LAN games at home, darnit!!

The thing I liked with the Prelude to Energon and movie games was that they were basically 1st to 3rd person shooters/driving games rolled into one... all it needed was a multiplayer option!

Just imagine playing something like Halo only with giant freakin' transforming robots! Bugger driving a vehicle like Warthogs and Wraiths when you can become vehicles like sports cars and jet fighters!!

I always thought that a Transformers MMORPG would be the way to go. Build your bot, choose your side, get recruited, go on smaller "missions" (quests), upgrade, become even more awesome, etc.

Not that that would work for Animated.

Honestly, I'd be happy with an Animated version of the Armada game.

I'm against MMORPG, but some ad-hoc online multiplayability would be sweet!
Prime-Collector
It would probably be like the movie game, but cell shaded.

I know that's not exciting but, it's probably true.
Agent Zero
Something along the lines of Super Smash Bros. or the recent line of Godzilla games.

A cast of characters, you choose, one, and just duke it out with an other bot.
Through in a single player "mission" mode that you can use to get upgrades, unlock better characters, etc...

MMORPG's take way too much time to play and cost more to upkeep (one would assume that you'd have regular registration fees). They seem good for full time students or the unemployed... or insomniacs... I otherwise don't know how you'd find the time to build a decent character at a high enough level that wouldn't get constantly pwned by other power-players. (-_-)

This guy plays a female MiniCon who could kill Unicron in a single blow-->
Starscream the great
I always thought something like a fighter game though that could already be done with the mage editor and artistic skill

TFA MMORPG FTFW (for the F'in win)!!!!!!!! g1-OptimusPrimeAniLevelup.gif

As for an armada-like one, not so sure. I haven't played the whole game, but I played at my friends a few times. Maybe it was just the level i was playing, but I didn't really like it.
Anyway, the idea of choosing a protoform base, detailing, alt-mode, color, head, personality, fraction and such is awesome. I'm, a huge, huge, HUGEREST fan of MMORPG's (like MapleStory) and making OCs. However, I doubt that they'll actually make one. But fans can dream, can't they?

I think i pissed my pants when i read that last part.

And yes, MMORPG's do take time, but its fun. you can be a character that represents you. not all RPG's cost a registration fee (WoW = suckage to teh maxege), and maybe it'd be like Soulcalibur, (or 3 anyway) where there a a cast of pre-set characters, and you can unlock thing to make your own character. (not the fighting-only gameplay, that kinda bites)

But then everyone's characters would actually look like this...

...and they'd all be completely depleted of stamina after running 10 metres. tounge1.gif

Nobody wants their characters to represent themselves! We want them to be cool!! biggrintf.gif

Maybe we could have Transformers LARPing! That'd be fun until someone gets hurt for real. tounge1.gif
