I can't find him. I haven't been able to find him for a few months now. Shouldn't he be out by now? Or is he like Target Exclusive Jazz and has come and gone? I'm going to Mississippi tomorrow...any ideas as to what wal marts I can stop at on the way?

He's more than likely gone. Blame Walmart and their inconsistent shipping. I used to see some hanging around, but not anymore

Yeah, he's long gone.
It's not so much that WalMart has inconsistent shipping - I've just noticed that most WalMart stores (unlike Target and TRU) only ever get a single shipment of "exclusive" figures, so when they're gone, they're gone...

The only reason I mention inconsistency is because, out of 5 WalMarts in my area, I only saw 2 of them stocking.

Considering the movie toys sales were slowing down about that time, I guess they might never have got any stock (my thought was that with their limited restocking of exclusives, it's real easy to miss one if you don't go in for a couple of days).

I just HATE the whole idea of exclusives. THere are no walmarts or Targets or anything like that over here so I have to pay crappy shipping fees to get anything over here. Makes My blood boil that I basically have to pay a third more to get any figs

yes, I checked ebay, and it was OVER TWENTY BUTTFRAKING DOLLARS!! There's no way i can pay that much for a movie deluxe. maybe I'll save it for that new target exclusive, Backtrack. Are they distributing those yet?
...god, that sucks. the ONE time I go for a car with a flame job, they don't have it. *sigh*

As much as I wanted the WM Exclusive Movie TFs(and even the next set, as well), I'm not bothering with it. There's been three exclusives I've managed to find locally, Classics Devastator, Masterpiece Starscream (@ one store, in another state.), and the Robot Heroes set. Any other exclusives, none of the employees knows a thing about.
I don't get why Hasbro can't sell the Wal-Mart exclusives through HasbroToyShop, especially when Wal-Mart themselves won't carry the damn things on their own website, yet Lego can sell their own exclusives between both Wal-Mart and Lego Shop@Home?

Hehe.. sorry for laughing, but considering a movie deluxe retails for $36-$40 here, 20 bucks ain't that bad

Well, he's not in retail packaging, but I have him and all his parts. I don't have the instructions anymore either but he's about the easiest deluxe in the world to transform. If you want him, $5 plus shipping and he's yours.

um...just a question: What kind of car is Big Daddy supposed to be? He kinda reminds me of a 69 Caddy, but that's just in the grill...he's not quite long enough.

The car mode for Big Daddy (originally Cybertron Downshift) was loosely based on a real car, but to keep from having to pay licensing fees, it's not based on anything specific. It's an issue that started with Car Robots in Japan (and again later when those toys came to the US as Robots in Disguise), any toy based on actual car designs have to be licensed through that company (hence why Dodge, Ford, Jeep, Subaru, etc., had logos and what not on the Alts/Binaltechs using their company's car designs). It's also why X-Brawn's Mercede's design was tweeked, as Hasbro couldn't acquire the rights to use that comany's specific grill and headlight design on the toy.

Imagine that's why Hasbro is loving

. The designs are radical, yet still familiar, and since it's a "cartoonish" look, there's not much chance of getting sued for copyright infringement.
