Uhmm... yeah.. As impressive as some of those dollar figures are, our fundamental fiscal problems lie elsewhere and are still another order of magnitude way off. This is a minor distraction at best..

I don't know - people have been making up shot for years explaining - why the gays shouldn't get married...
No reason to surprised now that the propaganda pendulum is swinging the other way...

On the other hand, this might be a good thing if it sucks away opposition. And nothing makes people switch sides like finding out they can make money offuvit..

Well, it's not going to solve California's economic problems, the truth is that people spending money they would not have otherwise spent is going to boost the economy...just probably not enough to gain national media attention.

Still, though, it certainly isn't hurting anything.

Someone needs to nuke Australia and Toronto, then California's economy will pick up again.

How can we have a Movie Star in charge and still not have a government that understands the importance of keeping filming here in our own state?

Not that I'm against nuking Toronto or anything, just let me know when they're coming so I can get a safe distance away.


I may be mistaken, but it seems like The Governator is more interested in tourism than film revenue. The thought occurs that both could work together if handled properly ....
