We are pleased to announce the first ever San Francisco Bay Area Transformers Swap Meet and Transformers 20th Birthday Party will be happening on September 18th 2004!

Come one and all to a FREE event where you can swap, buy and meet with other local Bay Area Transformers fans. That's right! Bring your very own TF goodies to share with others in this one day event presented by Super7 Magazine at their store in Japantown, San Francisco from Noon to 5pm on Saturday September 18th, 2004.

In addition to the Swap Meet, we will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Transformers cartoon that originally aired on September 17th, 18th and 19th, 1984. We will be serving birthday cake and punch at the swap meet to commemorate the date. And what's a party without prizes? Show up and put your name in a drawing to win some cool 20th Transformers give-aways!

In addition to the swap meet we will have some in store specials going on for the event including:

+ Super Link Wing Saber Figures from Japan for just $40 each.
+ Dreamwave / MetalSpark Exclusive Shockwave Lithos just $7.77 each.
+ 20th Anniversay Birthday Cake and Punch (while is lasts).
+ FREE birthday drawing for TF give-aways.

I'll set aside that weekend. I have the following to trade:

MISB MP-1 Convoy (Takara's version of 20th Anniversary Prime, no battled damage).
MISB BT-02 Lambor
MISB Armada Street Action Team

Please post or PM if you are seriously interested in the MP Convoy or BT Lambor. I'm not looking for anything in particular (maybe 3 MISB BT figures for the MP figure).

Count me there. Anybody knows how to get to that place from Alameda/Oakland. also, looking to get any tracks or deaadend around 40-55 bucks.
Metatron1050
do you want BT or ALT Dead End? cause I have an extra Dead End MISB for my friend, but I can always get him another one next time. LMK.

Doom_saber
Binaltech Deadend since I only collect that line because of the metal.

Take the Bay Bridge into the city then follow to the exit where you'll proceed on till you get to post street. Make a left turn on Post and head down the hill. As soon as you start to see Japanese looking buildings look for the black awning on the right that says Super7. Its at 1630 Post Street.

More than likely there will be people hanging out around the front of the store. There always is. smiletf.gif

Thanks, but I forgot to mention that since I cannot drive, which bus do I take? I know what transportation to use once I get to SF, but after that, I don't know where to go if I took public transport.

If you are coming in from the North or East Bay on BART get off at Montgomery Street station and catch the #38 Geary inbound and get off at Japantown.

For those of you coming up from the penninsula, get off at 16th Street BART station and catch the #22 Fillmore inbound and get off at Japantown.

For more information for others to get to the store by public transit go here http://www.511.org to plan the trip. The store is at 1630 Post street San Francisco, CA 94115 - Phone: 415.409.4700.

I feel empty beecause I can't go.

If you are arriving in Downtown San Francisco around ALL the tall skyscrapers, take the 38 GEARY on Market Street. Ask the driver and other passengers does this bus go TOWARDS JAPANTOWN. If it does and you get on the 38L = 38 LIMITED, available on Saturdays, get off at Laguna or Fillmore. If you just take the 38 it is the local and stops a lot. Get off at Laguna or Webster. Reference a map if necessary, but once you get on Geary Blvd. it is just a matter of going in the right direction.

Geary is one of the LONGEST roads in San Francisco, connects all the way to the Cliff House down to the Ferry Building/Embarcadero! It is HUGE! Good luck and remember it costs $1.25 if you are over 18 and $0.35 if you are a minor. thumbsup1.gif

How cool. Your B-day is the same as the TF cartoon. Are you 20 by chance?

We'll save some cake for you. smiletf.gif
