How's his toy gonna be? As two different mold, One voyager, another deluxe? Or if the toy's a mixed one, say, kinda like Blitzwing's facial spinning feature, what would you expect from Shockwave's facial feature? Perhaps a button behind his head to retract Longarm's 'scuba mask' thingy into Shockwave's antennas and pull Longarm's face downward to reveal Shockwave's single optic?
Damn, I keep rewatching Autoboot Camp just for the last moment of that episode. Speaking of hype and speculations, Shockwave's the new Blitzwing.
Any other thoughts?

Someone's gonna be mad about your spoilery thread title?
Otherwise I agree with you and really hope the toy has a transforming face.

I would be quite happy if their was a toy that didn't have the face change but I can see say something like cybetron primes face place so when you pull up the ears the face goes down

I dunno... I like the idea of a transforming head, but at what cost?I know Longarm's head has no articulation, but Shockwave's seem to be able to have a lot. I might be considering to prefer switchable heads, and also, how do we know nothing else on his body transforms? I'm not sure what to vote for. I'm just hoping they actually make a toy of him. another question would be; would he be a triple changer just with 2 robot modes instead of 2 vehicle modes?

I hope it is just a Shockwave only figure. The bigger the better. Hasbro will probably do a Longarm deluxe with "extendables" on the limbs?

Yeah I'm seeing two seperate figutres here. A deluxe Longarm and a Voyager Shockwave. Granted we still have no idea what Shockwaves ACTUAL alt mode is.

Its the same as longarm's. An armada megatron-ish H-shaped tank with claws coming from the head. Dunno where the canon is, though.

Well we've seen Longarm's alt mode on the show. He's supposed to be able to change his shape etc. I'm gonna be pretty ticked if they cheap out and just make Shockwave's alt the same as Longarm's.

Other TF double agents have had the same alt mode w/ 2 different robot modes - e.g.: Punch/Counterpunch, Doubledealer, Double Clouder etc.

if it's the cannon platform it would be another Don Figora design....in the War Within trade there was an un used shockwave design that is very similar.

Given the animation of the head transformation I think it's like that on the toy as well.
IIRC Longarm's alt mode is a crane. It would be pretty easy to make a toy that can change to a crane and a tank-like vehicle as well (which I presume Shockwave will be). I'd imabine that the extendable arm could be incorporated, though not nearly as long as the cartoon has them be.

i agree. I'm not sure if it's correct, but
here's a picture i found on deviantART of his non-vehicle transformation. I also hope the make a deluxe-class Longarm with extra armpieces, and a voyager-class Shockwave. I also too (weird too say but, yea) hope they give him two different alt-modes.

That's really cool.
As far as screen shots from the episode, I got a full shot of his LongArm body, but we never fully see his Shockwave form. I grabbed the frame from the monitor that shows the most we have seen yet of his upper body in both modes/

*in Monopoly money.Punch/Counterpunch is the first thing that came to mind when I saw this episode! I think it'd rock if Shockwave was a double agent/double transforming figure! This would be a great opportunity to explore some new design ideas/techniques for the line...like Blitzwing's faces, but going a step further.
I'm the same as some of the other posts...I keep watching specific parts of these eps...they definitely keeps the suspense going by sprinkling a little bit of everything in there for everyone. I'll be glad when they start to tie some of these 'parts' together within individual episodes of the second season...like Megatron Rising Part I & II for the first season! I can see it heading in that direction, though...so I'll try to be patient

Just in case somebody here hasn't seen "A Bridge Too close", I'll spoilerize the following tidbit of info:
In "A Bridge Too Close - Part 2", when Shockwave transforms back into his true from, he's seen with blade-like claws for fingers, like what is seen in the previous link.
If this info isn't deserving of spoiler tags around it, then I apologize in advance.

Helooooo.
Least, it's similar based upon the brief moment we see Shockys / Longarms vehicle mode.
