Very, very cool. I also concur that the working of the Decepticon emblem into his helmet was a really good idea.

I like Bludgeon, though the poor villain got shafted in the IDW comics. I mean, he just upgraded to really badass...and then went into system overload. Disappointed about that. I hope there are plans to bring him back later.

But, anywho, love the design! I get a kick out of redesigns that incorporate his samurai armor, his tank mode, and his skull-like face. Great work on all accounts!

On a Bludgeon-tangent note, does anyone else own Cybertron Unicron but consider him to be Bludgeon?

thats the only way I can look at him with out feeling let down in some way. but I can see a green repaint happening in universe

Oh, I never, ever think of him as Unicron. The story they made of it for the back of the card was lame.

Bludgeon totally ruled in G1 and G2.

I never read the original comics but he seemed cool for what others have told me

What's all this about Bludgeon being Unicron?

OK here goes...
here was a figure released in the Cybertron series of "Unicron" It was a deluxe sized figure that TF'd into a hover tank looking vehicle.
In robot mode, his head has a samurai helmet lok with horns much like Bludgeon has. To really seal the deal, this Unicron figure also has a skeetal face and some pretty cool close combat weapons
